The staff were super friendly and the room was clean and serviced every day! They even left little towel sculptures each day which were very cute and showed they truly did all they could to add to a pleasant stay.
It is an older property, which we knew, but the room was updated and mors toward modern. However only one elevator which was really slow. Additionally I think updating the chairs around the pool would be a very welcomed change.

The room was spotless-clean shower and bathroom, crisp fresh sheets. Nice floors. The pool was also very clean as it was cleaned and sanitized every day. The staff in the office were very personable. Very nice location across from the park and sprayground. Also parking was always available. The coffee shop in the Jolly Roger was within easy walking distance and had awesome breakfasts!
We stayed in 105 and it was very noisy being right at the entrance to the pool and close to the elevator.

The location, cleanliness, and front desk staff (I don’t know her name, but A++++)
The cleaning staff are quite invasive. Instead of just knocking, shouting “HOUSEKEEPING!” and waiting for a response (or lack thereof), they will attempt to just barge right in your room. I get they have a job to do and are only following their list of rooms to be cleaned but common courtesy is if you do not receive a response, move onto the next. Don’t just be trying door knobs of people’s rooms.
Secondly, on our day of checkout, we moved our belongings to the car early in the event that we were not back from breakfast by the 10am checkout time. We had planned on showering one last time when we returned. However, we return to our door open and the room stripped by the cleaning crew. We still had time to spare before our designated checkout time and we did not announce that we were checking out at the front desk. Not to mention, our DND placard was displayed. The cleaning crew just took it upon themselves to check us out before we did so voluntarily. They left no soap or washcloths to shower with.
As far as the room itself, the ceiling fan worked the first night. By the second night, it was no longer working. The shower made an annoying screeching sound. The AC system was complicated to control (although it did effectively cool the room).
