Everything at the hotel was excellent.
I was NOT pleased with making my reservation with booking.com. I looked online on the Hampton Inn website and saw the rate of $250 for one night. So, having seen so many Trivago commercials, I clicked on that link which apparently went through booking.com. I was quoted a rate of $189 plus taxes, etc. I thought, oh great, good deal…I sure saved money. WRONG! I called the hotel later (which I should have done sooner) and was given a rate of $173 plus taxes for my stay on 9/10/26. At that point it was too late to cancel my booking through booking.com. So, in addition to having to pay $16 more (which is NOT a bid deal for me), I learned I would not get a credit for staying a night as Hilton Honors Member. I’m not happy with having gone through booking.com and will NOT book through any of its sites.
