Location was excellent! It was easy to get to.
It seemed like the common areas were not cleaned as they should be. The floors in the elevators were dirty.
In the dining area, we asked for.plates and were told they were out. Another morning at the coffee area, cups were small and individually wrapped, cups were to small as putting on an insulator , it was way to big.
In our room, there was not a spare roll of toilet paper available. It was necessary for me to go to the front desk to pick one up.
In the hallway on the 4th floor outside our room, there was a takeout bag that had been placed there expecting it to be picked up by staff. The bag was there the entirety we were there (3 days).
It was disappointing overall and not the quality stay we have come to expect from the brand.

Charity and her staff were amazing. Clean comfortable with no distractions. I recommend to anyone traveling with family to stay at the Hampton DTC.
There is nothing that comes to mind that we didn't like. The pool was clean, rooms clean and modern. Very comfortable

The staff were very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast that was offered and felt it had plenty of options to choose from. The location was great for what our plans were and there wasn't a lot of traffic around us which made it easy to get to.
My only complaint would be that there was a sign in the room that they would be cleaned and have towels replaced and such every other day. On our second day we left our room about 10 am and were gone until the afternoon. When we returned our room hadn't been serviced and we had to go down to the desk to get more towels.

The location was safe and in a decent area, close to shopping and the freeway. Very easy access in and out of the city.
Although the property was updated, the cleaning staff could use some training. The hallways needed a vacume, little details like the trash cans were dirty and the sheets were yellowing and stained. We weren't greeted upon arrival as it took a few minutes for the front desk worker to come out. The bed was so old and very uncomfortable. Hotel mattresses really need to be replaced often. We went to the pool and the lights were all off. So we had to find the desk worker to turn them on because there was no switch in the pool area. And there was only 2 very tiny towels in the pool area.
