The Innkeeper was sociable, funny, and welcoming. The garden and grounds around the building were awesome to look at and walk through. Many amenities inside and out and a nice cozy feel. Rooms are comfortable for multiple day stays. We played card and board games in the study, had coffee and tea with home made banana bread in the morning. There is a grill and fire pit out back in the garden area with chairs and places to get comfortable. There is also a screen porch for those buggy days.
The negative I had was the pillows on the bed, way too soft for me. That's a me problem and not a you or them problem. Other than that all else was fantastic and we will be booking again. There is nothing else bad that I can say.

Steve is a wonderful host. We have stayed there before and will return again. He is friendly and flexible. The room was very comfortable. Can't beat the location. The garden is beautiful, a great combination of wild and maintained landscaping. I am looking forward to seeing how the ongoing renovations shake out!
I do wish there was less single use plastic and a little more in the way of breakfast options. The banana bread is great - and a sweet touch, but if he could wrap it in waxed paper it would be even better. Also, paper cups in the bathroom rather than plastic cups wrapped in more plastic. So much of that ends up in the ocean - it's a shame.
