The property and staff were absolutely wonderful. The location in town was central to everything which made it easy to find restaurants, shops etc. The only problem was traffic noise which was as something we would have known if we had looked closer so that knock is on us.

the hotel is on the Main Street through Wilmington so a lot of cars and trucks go by night and day.

I expected more "old authenticity"---especially in the ground floor common area. given its exterior, i would have expected more of a parlor feeling, with wood and sofas and lamps and artwork. instead, well, it's not like that. also, would be nice if the tvs were netflix-ready, like in several more modern hotels
