Loved my room

My room was really cool. I really like the one bedroom set up. It was decorated in a fun way. It had everything I needed For my short trip.

The only thing that I didn’t really like about the property was the beds (not comfortable and bunk bed style)and there wasn’t a lot of community hang out. The rooms are so nice they kind of just invite you to to stay in your bedroom versus in a traditional hostel they have like really nice hangout spots and a lot of people congregate there. I think also the washer and dryer were for the employees only but since I didn’t need it for my trip Im not sure. If I would’ve stayed longer it would’ve been nice to have a washer and dryer.

NOT Recommended

Literally nothing! It's the worst place that I had ever been! The pictures are fake, the real facilities doesn't look like that. It's dirty, weird people inside, I didn't feel save in any moment - that helps the fact that there is no control who is going in..My opinion it's shame that someone makes money from place like that! I don't recommend to stay here. Just waiting to the sunrise to go out because between the insecurity and bad smell it's impossible to sleep here. So disappointed.

The people staying there were kind and polite as well.

The place is very artistic and full of creativity. Great view while playing pool and guitar early morning. Full kitchen with mini half pipe for SK8ting, unbelievable, like home away from home… This place is Dope!!! Rachel and Chris are excellent hosts. I’m definitely going to stay here again. Awesome job Guyz…

Everything… From the minute I arrived, to the minute I went back to work, it was like a dream. Who ever thought of this idea was on to something great for everyone.

the property itself is great.

some people that were staying there at the same time as me weren’t to good to have around. Felt like a half way house. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt as it was a Saturday night.

Family spring break.

We liked the spaciousness, that it had a functional kitchen, and that it had 3 beds.

Didn't like lack of cool air-conditioning when it was hot, though the heater did work. The on demand hot water heater didn't work right. It would heat for a few minutes, then turn off and water got cold. We had to keep resetting it in another room, the communal kitchen. Didn't like that the owner/manager did not respond to my texts about these problems. Sofa bed was not comfortable. Felt the metal bars.

Super chill spot for reliving your dorm-life years. Would stay again. It’s a bargain by the beach.

I liked the easy check-in, parking was no problem, and overall vibe of the place was chill.

Compared to the room I saw in the pic, the one I got was stark. A lot of bare floor, empty space… I guess easy to hose down? It was clean and the bed was super comfy. Once you fill the room with your surfboards and luggage and homies, and you turn on some lamps and the nice big tv, it starts to warm up… but like, I expected some decent art on the walls or something. Like, where’s all the street art, bro? For some reason I expected to be west of the freeway. The freeway noise was intense but tolerable if you usually live in a city. I also kinda thought the room had its own shower but early bird gets the worm and there was no problem using the one across the hall.

on paper sounded great

wasn’t secure. sat on top of the highway. talks of a ‘vibe’ of the place. had the vibe of a post prison halfway house

a drug hostel full of addicts dealers and dangerous randoms.

nothing, I was violently harassed upon my arrival by Chris who claims to be the owner here, PLEASE TAKE CAUTION WHEN BOOKING - SINGLE FEMALES LOOK ELSEWHERE

the Owner trying to randomly throw us out on the street at night in pouring rain - as he successfully canceled your booking over the phone and now he is claiming “trespassing” all in retaliation- a very dangerous guy.

It’s was okay for the price!

good area , off smell when you first walked in the building through the back.

Couldn’t use the hot water when I wanted. All the hot water will be gone by 10pm.

I did not Feel Safe For my 4 years old! I did not stay, The property smells drugs.Money No Refund:(

They don't provide Parking space, it's No Parking Available,

I made the reservation around 6pm I arrived at 7 and decided not to stay, I felt unsafe with my 4 year old son The property smells a lot of drugs there is not enough light inside and outside, i emil that moment to cancel and have my refund, and No RESPOND UNTIL NOW.

The smell of the place was terrible. I was not able to make the warm water of the shower work.

Great location. Comfortable bunk. Clean rooms.

The ceiling started leaking on the last day, and we had somebody who was an extremely heavy snorer in the room and made it difficult for everyone else to sleep. Microwave was busted so I couldn’t heat up food without using the stove or oven.

I enjoyed leaving. Also I enjoyed all the people! Everyone was cool except for the loud snorer.

Not as advertised... you don't get privatized bunks with curtains . It's all open air regular bunk beds, so definitely did not get the sleep I expected paying this much... blanket didn't cover my whole body. Woke up and the whole place smells like gas which I was told was normal because of the stove.

Superb

the street art was fabulous. it was in a good location. free street parking.

I feel like the room was just way too hot especially after showering. and the private toilet situation was tough. I’m 5’9” and it was way too high so they need to have like a step stool next to the toilet so you can be sat properly on it to do your business lol but besides that everything was great and the public bathroom was clean to use so that solved the issue in the room
