Hampton Inn Newport

Room was really clean, and had everything needed for taking a shower. Plenty of towels! Breakfast was good and had a good variety of everything. All the staff were nice and helpful!!

Put pool towels out at the pool--there wasn't any.

the washer and dryer don't take cards and no atm in the lobby to get cash out

quick check in and check out process. Variety of breakfast options was nice each day to not have the same thing every day. It was nice that they text you if you need anything you can ask them. We forgot water bottles and they did reply that they have complimentary bottles in the lobby. After driving all day, it was nice to have a well lite parking lot for safety.

Breakfast wasn't set out consistently all together. Yogurt wasn't out with the rest of the breakfast, boiled eggs weren't chilled enough in the container. Oatmeal was thick one day and runny the next and breakfast started closing at 9:40 not 10. The restroom in the hotel room had mold in the shower curtain and in the corners of the shower. The vanity design to have the faucet come out of the corner lead to water covering the counter which is no fault of the managing staff but rather the designers of the room. The vanity legs in the room were rusted which I'm assuming is due to the higher humidity. The Gym only having one functioning treadmill with 2 out of order was disappointing as my family wasn't able to workout at the same time. Providing a short cut guide of channels would be recommended as the pause between changing the channels is lengthy. The hotel had one elevator operating instead of 2 causing delays at times from the room to the lobby. The app to use as a room key didn't work.
