Quaint little motel up up up in Cloudcroft. We arrived rather late evening after being in white sands all day and found no one around. We called and the key was under the mat :) the room was clean and well equipped. We had to unplug the fridge because it was a little too noisy but the rest was great! The place for breakfast was awesome
Cloudcroft at 9pm in August is fairly desert, if you’re looking for a place to eat or drink the town is very quiet.

We reserved the route66 themed room and it was adorable. Beds and pillows were comfy.
The level of customer service and communication was amazing. We will be back for these reasons.
One thing that would have thrown everything over the top would have been the service at the cafe. Food was great but the level of customer service at the motel was far off from the customer service at the cafe.
She was the only server there on German night so she was doing the best she could.

The room was a good size.
The bed wobbled from side to side and leaned to one side if there weren't two people in it. The owner sent me a message and offered a larger room. She did not mention a price change, which she added to the bill. The coffee pot didn't work. The jacuzzi bath only functioned as a regular bath tub. They called this the honeymoon suite.
