The Eagle Harbor Inn

The room was nicely designed and furnished with quality fittings, excellent linens, and attractive adornments. The two chairs were OK but not very comfy and there was no table between them for coffee or cocktails, so we used the desk chair with a placemat on the seat. There was a small fridge/freezer which was nice. The tub/shower had handrails but no non-slip mat. Plenty of quality towels. Coffee was freshly provided each morning with table cream in a fridge underneath. This also had an icemaker inside! There was adequate parking. It’s close to shops and restaurants. There is no elevator and our room was up 1-1/2 flights from the car park. Great if you are able bodied.

The bathroom was a bit awkward since the sink had very little counter. . They made up for that somewhat with a second mirror and narrow shelf and Makeup mirror. At some point, the code for the door lock was cancelled so I was stuck outside with no phone and had to yell to my husband to let me in. It took a while, since there was a substitute manager, to get the code reinstated. This was a consequence of contactless entry—no human present.

Convince t location, the room was a good size and very clean. Lovely amenities.

It would be great if there was a microwave. Otherwise, this hotel has it all.

Location was good. Can walk to downtown and restaurants.

No table in the room. No microwave available. Dripping sound in the walls when running water. Road noise.

Breakfast is not available on site so went to Madison Diner.. great breakfast in dinning car

Maybe a microwave would be helpful for dinning in for breakfast
