Upon arrival, I suspected I'd made a mistake as the outside looks a little older. But I was greeted by a very friendly young man who made my check-in process smooth despite having some internet connection issues (not their fault being as far out as they are).
My room was updated, clean and cool (as it was 100 degrees outside).
The bed was incredibly comfortable and clean.
The location is amazing as it's a 5 minute drive down to Highport Marina. A great place to spend the morning at the lake before heading out for your day.
Checking in and checking out also puts a positive spin on your day as the staff is cheerful and accomodating.

Easy check in. Cleanliness.
The fact that animals are allowed. The room right next to ours had a barking dog, every time there was a movement outside it would bark non stop. So much for relaxing, thankfully we only stayed a night and were gone most of the time.
