The overall vibe of the place and crowd was great. Looked like a great retro 80'a place. Super clean. People are friendly. You can use the pool
Spring beds felt uncomfortable. Whole bunker moves when I move. Washroom wasn't attached to dorm rooms. Apart from tgat great.

Close to all attractions, clean, interesting old house, good facilities, store nearby.
Kitchen small often others hanging around, 20 somethings don’t wash their dishes, no aircon although room had one it didn’t work

Very organised and efficiently run Hostel. Spacious dorms and good locker space. Each bed had its own light and electrical sockets plus a curtain for privacy. Good kitchen facilities and well managed. Ample shower facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Loved the character of the old house. The hangout areas were great. The staff were super cool and helpful. I also really liked how many individual bathrooms and shower rooms there were. Loved the privacy curtains on the beds and the shelving with a personal light and plug--nice touch and super helpful.
Even though tidy, everything was just a bit gross and dirty. The photos are what sold me, but they don't show the thin layer of yuck and old weed stink that hits you when you walk in the door. The bedroom where I stayed smelled so awful of feet and sweat, I couldn't even sleep. They just need to get a cleaning crew in and deep clean regularly. Leaving used towels on the bed instead of in a bin might be part of the problem. I love a hostel, but even hostels can be clean.
