About this house rental
Beautiful Gascogne farmhouse with large private garden and shared swimming pool (with owners) in quiet rural setting, approx. 35 minutes drive from Toulouse. The gite forms part of the larger farm house with fully independent entry, garden, terrace and parking.
The gite offers beautiful views over arable farm land and mountains in the distance. Down stairs a fully fitted kitchen incl. washing machine & dishwasher, a living room with fire place, UK satellite TV & WIFI connection. Upstairs a double bedroom and bathroom and an attic bedroom with 3 single beds which children adore, all looking out over pool area.

We spent 2.5 weeks at this lovely property called En Doucet. Julia and Bastiaan are great hosts, very kind and helpful and go beyond what is expected. They have two teenage children who must be the most polite, respectful and quietest teenagers in the world!
The gite itself is very rural - the nearest restaurants and shops are around 20 mins away so a car is essential. The gite is well equipped and has everything you need and the pool area is very relaxing with the pool itself being very cooling on a lovely hot day.
If you can drag yourself away from the beautiful, peaceful gite and its surroundings, there are plenty of pretty villages and activities to do in this area. The nearby town of L'isle Jourdain has everything you need in the way of shopping, eating and relaxing.
All in all, En Doucet is a lovely place to spend your holiday. We tend to try a different area of France every year but if we didn't do this we would definitely return to En Doucet.

We had a marvellous week and 2 days at this beautiful Gite
It’s a lovely tranquil area but still very quick to get to Toulouse with lots of lovely villages all around

We stayed for a 2 week holiday in this lovely house and the owners were very helpful. We were a family of two teenagers and a 1 year old Baby and the owners had supplied a highchair and travel cot which was very helpful. The house has internet and a swimming pool and a large trampoline with swings which kept the older kids happy.
The house is clean and well looked after.
The owners couldn't have been more helpful, such a lovely family.
The house is about 10 minutes drive from the nearest shops so car is required.
Would definitely recommend this holiday home.
