River House Inn

Lovely location overlooking a branch of the New River; a delicious elegant supper followed live music on the porch. And breakfast was great.

My husband and I occasionally book an overnight get away. We live in Greensboro NC. I was looking for a place that had a hot tub in j the room. I was so lucky to stumble across this place. The River inn blow us away. We booked the chicken house. The perfect romantic get away. Now the room didn't have a tv. But we had WiFi. The hot tub along with the fireplace was so romantic. The theme of the cabin was perfect. The king size bed was so comfortable with tons of pillows. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional. The mimosa was fresh squeezed orange juice. My husband said the French toast was the best he ever ate. The staff was so kind and pleasant. We will be back.

Everything was so perfect. If I had anything I wish was better , I'll have to say the porch to the chicken house. Tons of leaves ,it wasn't very inviting. I would've been an extra bonus if it has been cleared. But still not that big of a deal.

Coffee each morning was great. Enough can't be said about the quality of the food!!!! 5 Star!! The entertainment was great on Sunday afternoon.

Curtains were very dirty, this raises the question if the comforter is cleaned after each guest. Cobwebs were in several places in the room.
