Cool house in the trees and thoughtfully appointed, but smoke and dog hair were a bummer.

The setting is beautiful, with trees all around the property, and it’s in a nice neighborhood. The homes decor was fun, and it has all the amenities you would need for a stay.

There are no window coverings in some of the rooms; for example, there are bunks out in the living room, but no way to get privacy out there. I’m not sure if anyone smoked in the upper section of the house, but people were definitely smoking below, and it made the whole upstairs smell smoky. We all woke up congested after that night. There was also dog hair everywhere. on the pocket door to the bathroom, on the couches, on the bedding, etc.

Very easy to access, really comfortable, and tv projector was enjoyed after a day on the slopes.

It was very clean and cozy and felt safe and private. We watched great movies on the big screen with great Roku choices. The decor was natural/native fibers and decorations. Dawn was considerate and responsive to emails. Our dogs were welcome. Just bring extra sheets/comforters if your dogs are thinking on sitting on the gorgeous blankets.

Wish I could come back for Christmas with my family!

This is a perfect mountain getaway! Beautiful yard with trail through trees, welcoming, accommodating host, comfy beds, classic cabin decor, close to trails & grocery & favorite mountain restaurants.

One night it was kind of loud, but 99% of the time it was completely serene and restful.

Gourgeous setting with very special touches! A 10!

very private & beautiful setting, very clean, all the amenities anyone would need. The owner thought of everything. Bathrobes, lovely toiletries, kitchen spices. Huge TV plus large comfy beds. We could go on & on. This is obviously a person who wants to provide a nice place for people to stay at a fair price!

Everything was great as described. Owner placed note cards so we found everything we needed.

For 5 adults 1 bathroom was ok for 1 night. Might be tough for a longer stay. Not criticizing the property as it was clearly stated but mentioned for reference to other potential renters.

Cozy home theater review Super clean. Plenty of space to sleep, and good wifi. Plenty of restaurants close by.

It is advertised as a whole house to yourself and when you show up to find out you are on the bottom floor of a two-story house and the owner is living above you, it can be a bummer. While there might be a kitchenette advertised, what you have is a full size refrigerator at the end of a hallway with a microwave on the top and a crock pot and an electric skillet tucked away in a cabinet with very small surfaces here and there to use as counters. I do feel it should be advertised as such so you know what you're getting.

Very cozy place in a quiet forest close to Mount Hood. Dawn, the host is very kind and wants to make sure you have the best time. Bedrooms are spacious, the surroundings gorgeous, and the place was very clean! We felt at ease right away and had a wonderful night, very comfortable beds as well.

The kitchen space is very small and doesn't allow for much cooking.

Great Vacation Spot

Host was fantastic and met us on the first day and was very helpful about surronding area. The bears den was very comfortable and the weather was great two of the three days that we were there. Close enough to Ski Bowl but distant enough to not have to deal with lots of people. House is located in an off shoot off of the freeway. Quiet and lots of trees around. Plenty comfortable for 4 adults and 1 child. Tall refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster and portable skillet. We had a great time and will try to book again in the fall.

Perfect and fun!

Perfect quiet location. Home cinema great fun for everyone. The massage chairs were great! Very cozy, comfortable and clean. Excellent wifi.

It was so perfect that we booked an extra night

As a handicap person, it was easy to get around & didn’t have to use stairs. My husband loved the huge home theater to watch the Super Bowl. Our host, Dawn, ensured that we had all we needed during our stay and was available 24/7. Our dog enjoyed the backyard while it was refreshing to sit outside by the campfire. Everything was clean and fresh, it had more room than I expected & you need a couple of days to find every single detail that Dawn used for her decorations. Property was close to all the attractions near Government Camp, ski resorts & snow parks. Loved the peace and quiet and enjoyed that we were away from the city, to appreciate nature even more. I would highly recommend this property, whether you’re skiing in any of the 6 ski resorts of Mt Hood or just to sit outside, have a nice BBQ dinner & it’s suitable for guests of all ages. We look forward to stay here again!!!

Location is perfect for someone wanting to use recreational opportunities in the MT Hood Recreation area. Description for the apartment is accurate and opportunities to speak directly with the host before and afterwards was a real plus. Be aware this is a basement apartment so there is some noise at times.

As the owner knows, the location of the microwave is very hard to use. As a senior the lighting was not the best for someone who wishes to read rather than watch TV or video. Otherwise the owner has thought of most amenities one would wish for and more.

so cozy and well equipped with two TVs in each bedroom and plates/utensils and microwave. Tge beds were so comfy and we loved the living room with theater screen. Host was so welcoming and wonderful!

So relaxing...beds were great, & loved the entertainment room with the big screen projector. Close proximity to Mt Hood 🏂

Wish the kitchen space was a bit bigger, but it had enough amenities to get by.

The location was beautiful, feeling like we were in the forest which we were. We found the home and furnishings to be lovely, very artistically decorated. Our host Dawn is certainly the hostess with the mostest, our own personal concierge. Thank you so much Dawn!
