Beautiful location
There was a problem with hot water being available

Location was good, the cottage had plenty of space, the kitchen was well equipped and the garden was mostly peaceful and pleasant to sit out in.
The beds, single ones in particular, were uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have some guest soaps available for use on arrival. The local shop is vastly over-rated. Fresh food was almost non-existent and what there was was suspect. This shop caters for very basic requirements only - at a price! We'd have stopped at a supermarket had we known the truth. Noisy neighbours holding band practice at high volume with all windows open drove us out of the house on the one day we'd decided to spend a quiet day relaxing and barbecuing in the garden. Just as well as the barbecue was not something we'd have felt comfortable cooking on anyway as it was very dirty.
