False advertising, poor hospitality, scam. Incomplete stay.

Host was not present on-site despite the description of the advertisement. The door to our assigned unit was left open with the key inside. No one ever requested, photographed or even checked our ID cards or passports. We got a dark, lower-floor unit with no sea view. This was completely different from the top-floor, sea-view apartment we had booked and paid for, as explicitly shown in the Booking.com listing and our reservation confirmation. The provided apartment did not meet basic hospitality standards. Broken furniture, dirty bathroom, apartment full of ants. Proper bedding was missing (only one thin sheet was provided to be used as a blanket for two people). We called the host’s phone number multiple times and sent messages via the Booking.com platform. The host intentionally ignored our phone calls and disregarded our complaints in the chat. We had to buy bedding for ourselves in the local store. The only responses we received from the host were mainly passive-aggressive messages like solely demanding the 30 EUR pet fee. The cleaning staff also appeared unanounced and requested us to pay more money. No receipt. On the same day 23:14 a man aggressively pounded on our door for several minutes. Given the host's earlier hostile demands for cash, we were terrified, fearing it was the host coming to confront us in person regarding the pet fee (which we requested to pay through Booking since we wanted to be safe). Although it ultimately turned out to be another guest struggling with the parking arrangements due to the property's chaotic and unresolved parking situation, this highly intimidating and stressful incident made us feel completely unsafe and finalized our decision to leave the property 2 days early. This was a huge disappointment and I don’t think we will use Booking.com after this ever again. We filled a complaint due false advertisement and we really hope we will get our money back somehow.

Disappointing stay – not worth the value for the price.

The location was convenient, and the apartment had a nice terrace.

The place was full of ants, which made the stay uncomfortable. It definitely wasn’t worth the money paid and did not meet expectations.

Very central, but too expensive for the les features and the three stars.

The shadowed balcony with view into the Marina, the bay and parts of the village.

It took a while to find the proper address even with assistance of the Croatian taxi driver. The apartments are numbered, you've to guess and find out which stairs to step up. In darkness that might be a problem. The key was left on the kitchen table and the apartment was open as I arrived. Communication happened solely through booking.com. I still have no idea to whom that site belongs or who is managing it. No personal contact at all! First impression: It wasn't really tidy, you could see the wipes on mirror, glass table and the windows. For the three stars it all looks a wee bit too used and too less equipped or damaged. Second impression: One Window had a broken mechanic. The very basic kitchen was partly not usable due to dirty pan and pots and two gas stoves which didn't work and might even not be connected at all. Unfortunately the two electrical stoves were not sufficient to even boil some water, even if I used pre-boiled water from the water boiler, therefore warm water in the shower was boiling hot and that is very dangerous! The bath looks like the stopped in the middle of some renovation tasks, but that is my personal impression. I didn't used WiFi. A lot of paper labels tell you to not touch this or that. Nevertheless the location is directly at a road and very close to the village center. There's a bakery in the neighbor house and a Studenac supermarket two houses beyond. Approx. 150 m to the shore, slightly downhill. Sometimes there's no boldwalk besides the road on neither side! A second supermarket is close to the shore and another on the road the way out of village. On the road #8 there's the biggest supermarket, number four. During my stay the only shop which sold eggs. At the shore a lot of restaurants, bars and places to meet and drink of all classes and flavors/tastes. Plenty places to swim at a mix of shingle and sand beach. Around the peninsulas a lot of ladders to sim.

Bakery - next door. Supermarket - two doors down.

Only the top floors has unrestricted view of the sea from the terrace but this is only a minor setback
