Overall it was mostly good and the owners did respond immediately to my texts about the cooktop. But I definitely do not

The location is fabulous. You’re central to restaurants, shops, etc.

This is NOT a place for seniors! This apartment is on the 3rd floor (by the US system of counting floors). The stairs into the apartment are difficult - no handrail on the first section. Lots of stairs!!! Then once you get in the apartment no handrails on the stairs up to the bedrooms. There was no soap in the upstairs bathroom shower, TP was almost out ( we had to buy extra). The kitchen is sparsely equipped- but ok IF you can get the induction stove to unlock. We spent many minutes pushing the unlock button and it just wouldn’t unlock. Extremely frustrating as I have an induction stove and know how to unlock them. We finally got it but then went thru the whole thing again the next morning!!!!

Ideal central stay

The apartment was easily accessed and tucked just off the main square in the middle of Aosta, so it is very central. The main bedroom window overlooks the Roman theatre area. It is well equipped, with one bathroom upstairs (with the two bedrooms) and another downstairs. It was spotlessly clean. There is paid parking a couple of minutes away. Ideal central stay.

The apartment is reached by stairs (no lift) and the wooden (spiral type) stairs do not have a handrail. This didn't create a problem for us but should be kept in mind for anyone with mobility problems or small children. The second room has a loft window only and was warm until things cooled down at night.
