everything! This is literally a piece of haven on earth! beautiful property and villas! we enjoyed our time very much and hopefully come back soon!
The only thing it could be better is the road, which is not technically part of the property so no blame on them. If they could invest on maintaining the road a little better, it would be like perfection! It was still an adventure tho, and didn’t shy me away from coming back! :)

The property had a nice location and the room was big.
The room was not clean and there were marks on the sheets. The room was just above the laundry room, which started to run very early morning. We barely saw the hosts, so they didn't seem to be very interested to see how their guests were doing. Overall, a very bad experience. I wouldn't stay again.

Cachito de Cielo is a truly wonderful place. Set back in the jungle behind Tulum, it's an oasis of melodic nature and wildlife. The whole place has clearly been designed to fit ergonomically with it's natural habitat.
The hosts, Alberto and Tania were delightful. Always on hand to help whenever needed, but gave us the required privacy to enjoy each others company. If we ever visit the Rivera Maya again, we'll be sure to return. Thank you.

Amazing accomodation . Nothing to add.:)

We loved our little bungalow. Although it was advertised as a one bedroom unit, it was really a studio, but a decent size. The pool was nice. The cats and the dog were welcoming. The use of bicycles was a bonus, although one of the ones we chose needed some maintenance. Lovely soap in the bathroom. Really nice bed sheets and super comfy king bed. Air- con and fans worked well. When we ran out of gas for the stove, it was replaced immediately.
The first night (out of 7), there was an Ayahuasca ceremony. Drums outside our hut till 3am. 2 days later a group of 15 women came for an eight day retreat. They also had their ceremonies close to our hut, one night howling till 2 am. What we did not appreciate about these incidents is that the accomodation rules state that there is no noise permitted after 10 pm which was one of the reasons why we chose this place. We were warned by the manager only upon arrival.
The second negative has to be the road from hell to get to the place. They do say a vehicle with high clearance is best, but we had rented our car for a month and were not able to change it as we were traveling to many different locations. To travel that 1km piece of #&@+## would take us 20 minutes each way every day. Why someone can't get a couple of truckloads of gravel to fix this is beyond belief! The city water treatment plant uses this road 24/7 and even their huge trucks have difficulty and if there is rain it becomes a nightmare!

Alberto is just an amazing host in an amazing place. He provides help where needed, but leaves you in peace if you want to. I couldn‘t imagine a better place around Tulum. Everyone, who is looking for a calm place away from the noisy and crowdy city center should stay at Cachito del Cielo!

The location was remote and away from the touristy beach scene, but only a 5 minute drive. The hosts were very responsive and attended to all our needs and questions. They have created a beautiful oasis in the middle of the jungle that is not to be missed. We wanted food and they offer a local menu of delivery options and have a full kitchen in some of the rooms as well as an outdoor kitchen available by the pool.
Food available for purchase on site would have been great. But it’s so close to town you can easily get whatever you need.

It's really a unique place in the middle of the forest. You can feel the peace and it's really a great place if you are into yoga. :) Host was very helpful and kind. The pool is awesome. Room was clean and cozy.
There are several rooms at this location and we rented the one with the smallest bed. And it was really small for two people, (140cm-s or less)
We had a little fight for the blanket and the space in the bed, but if you like to sleep close to each other, it's really an advantage. :)

Honestly, the only positive thing I can say about this place is that the villas are spacious and the hosts are nice people. Unfortunately, I won't advise anyone to stay here.
The hotel is located at the end of an unpaved road that leads to a place where sewage is disposed of. Huge trucks carrying sewage containers continually travel this path back and forth. Taxi drivers won't drive you there unless you pay them a fortune. You either have your own car or you will find yourself trapped in the middle of nowhere with no food. The hotel does not offer minimum services: they don't serve breakfast or any meals, they won't change your towels during your entire stay, they won't clean the rooms... anything. We did not have pots in the kitchen or a kettle, so we could not even boil water to cook or make tea. There is a gas stove but they don't even provide a lighter or matches. The rooms are decorated as if the "Live, Love & laugh" new age grandma section of a retail store exploded inside. There is an enormous pool that we never used because the water is really cold.

The staff were exceptionally nice. We talked to and became familiar with the family that ran the place, and they were so friendly. The place is absolutely beautiful - in the middle of the jungle. The buildings/rooms of the hotel are dispersed in the jungle. It was just an amazingly calm and relaxing environment. The pool area is also beautiful and a lovely place to sit and hang out with your family or friends. Seeing as we travelled as a family of 5, we were in the dorm-like room with 8 separate single beds, it was very similar to the set up of a camp cabin and it was perfect. The bathrooms were also great as there were three.
Our room was the furthest away of the hotel so our Wi-Fi was not great. Even though the bathrooms were beautiful, the water pressure was not very strong. Lastly, it was slightly difficult for us to arrive at the hotel as we had a small car that struggled on the long dirt road that takes you to the location (especially after it rained when there were many potholes).

This is a peaceful, beautiful place in the jungle. The room is actually a beautifully decorated apartment with a full kitchen. The attention to details and decoration was wonderful. The grounds, pool and surroundings were like being ina different world. If you are afraid of Covid, like myself, thisisthe place to be now, very safe.
But, you must be independenr, there is no pampering. No maids service, no food or drink on premises. No amenities besides pool., exactly what we wanted!
Everything was perfect for us.

Everything was wonderful! The apartment is enormous and gorgeous and it's a great spot to chill and relax.
The location makes it a little difficult to get to downtown but it's totally fine if you have a car. The dirt road is very easy to drive on with a sedan.

Perfect place for relaxation in jungles. Friendly owners, always ready to help and suggest anything. Close to many tourist attractions reachable by car.
Can throw garbage sometime and change towels. A road nearby can be noisy in the morning.

I love how private, peaceful and just everything about this place made me feel at home. This is a hidden paradise and beats any large resorts. It may not be for everyone but this place is for travelers like me who prefers to experience local interests and not just touristy, high end places or entertainment. When I stayed here I felt like I’m in Mexico and not another hotel or condo that I could find just anywhere. It’s unique and beautiful.
Nothing to mention.

Gorgeous and relaxing villas in a magical location. We had wanted to try a couple of different locations and booked 4 nights at another hotel at the end of our trip and ended up cancelling the other reservation and returning back to Cachito after only one night elsewhere. We loved being 10 minutes out of town in the peace and quiet and dark of the jungle. If you are looking for a party or socializing, Cachito is definitely NOT the right place from you. It feels isolated but is just a short drive from all the great activites...
If there was an option to get breakfast or evening cocktails at the property, it would be even more perfect!

I really liked how calm and serene the jungle escape was compared to how busy the downtown tulum was.
The dirt road in the jungle was a little bumpy but overall the place was incredible!

Beautiful jungle homes and a nice pool. Lots of charm!

Great relaxing atmosphere/environment. Pool was very nice. Owners live on-site and they were very thoughtful and hospitable.
Lack of consistent Wi-Fi was a significant problem as one of my daughters had several college assignments to do over the internet and we could not get service on several occasions.
Entry road a bit rough but not nearly as bad as prior reviews indicated
Garbage collection center right at entrance is not particularly appealing.

Beautiful, Serene and Clean. The owners are amazing
The WiFi is not good at all. Please don’t stay if you have to work or need to use your laptop. This would be the only reason I wouldn’t return

We stayed just a few days to experience some quiet family time and what better way to do this than stay in a semi secluded area. Not to far off the road you’ll find the Grand Cenote for about 300 pesos ($15 dollars) and a few miles back you’ll find restaurants and shops. Before heading here bring some food essentials (water/snacks) you won’t want to drive back and fourth at night. The pool area is so nice and love LOVE listening to the birds sing in the morning and evening, while sipping my coffee in the morning. You’ll be glad you stayed.
Keep in mind your in mid jungle and WiFi comes and goes. So put the phone down and Bring some bored games and have some old time fun!

Hosts very friendly family and caring
Uneven dirt road to drive through

Beautiful ambiance, spacious, well designed and maintained
A pity the bar/open kitchen wasn’t public.
The gallon water should be provided standard. It only costs 50 pesos, $2.50 so why bother
