Grand Palace Hotel & Spa

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Palace Resort. Honestly, I was a little hesitant after reading some of the negative reviews, but I’m glad we decided to go. Don’t let those reviews put you off. There was nothing seriously bad about our experience. The people here really made the stay special. The front office team was warm, polite and extremely helpful. Mr. Naveen and the manager from the front office were excellent and always ready to help. The kitchen team was good, but I feel they need a little more training and improvement. Still, overall, it was fine. The altitude team was extraordinary. Mr. Maveen, Mr. Easwaran and another supervisor from the altitude team were extremely helpful throughout our stay. I couldn’t remember everyone’s names, but their smiling faces and willingness to help really made a difference. The resort itself has a lot going for it. The swimming pool was clean, there’s a nice outdoor play area with a huge human-sized chess board, and there are good indoor activities as well. My little daughter had a great time and enjoyed the stay a lot. The food was great, although I felt it was a little expensive. The rooms and restrooms were very clean, which is something I personally give a lot of importance to. And the views… absolutely beautiful. You get great views from so many places around the resort. I specifically requested a room with a better view, and they immediately upgraded our room. That was a really nice gesture and something I appreciated. One thing I would definitely mention is the extended-stay price. It was much more reasonable compared with what I found on other booking platforms. I’ve stayed at quite a few resorts, but this one genuinely stands out for me. Great views, clean rooms, good food, plenty of activities, a lovely pool and, most importantly, people who actually make you feel welcome. Thank you to the entire Grand Palace team for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed every bit of it. My daughter especially did.

The kitchen team could use a little more training and improvement. The taste of the food could have been better, and I felt the prices were slightly on the expensive side. Apart from that, we had a very good experience.

Location, cleanliness and customer service and rooms were good but food and restaurant facilities were not not up to the par and definitely needs a lot of improvement
