I wasn't sure what to expect from a "Hostal" - and it was terrific - better than some hotels I have stayed in. I realized later that many places in Nerja have the designation of Hostal (and nothing like hostels we may be familiar with). The reception staff are very helpful and the staff overall are very helpful. My room was clean and very comfortable. private bathroom and even a balcony. The Hostal is a 10-15 minute walk to the bus station; and a similar walk to the beach. For other travel - no ubers of course, and the taxicab area never seems to have taxis. Get the taxicab number - I used taxis twice and never waited more than 5-10 minutes. Restaurants are plentiful, and the nightlife looked quite vibrant from my window. Though I never heard any noise. Definitely a great place to stay

The photos are not super accurate but it is worth it a lot. The room is super clean, comfy and the bathroom is amazing for a couple too. The AC works as expected because the weather is super warm on Summer. The location is one of the best of Nerja because at less than 10 min walking you can reach all the places and see everything (including night clubs and disco pubs)
Walls are not super good enough and for example the next room had the TV turned on all day so it was a bit annoying for us…
