Hotel Lois is a smallish hotel in the centre of the old town in A Coruña. It's in a perfect location; in amongst the bars, cafés restaurants and shops of the narrow streets of A Coruña. You're literally a two minute walk from the city beach, and about a 15 minute walk (by way the beautiful seafront promenade) from Estadio Riazor (home of Deportivo A Coruña) and another beautiful 25 minute walk in the other direction to the Torre de Hecules, Roman lighthouse, a must see.
If I had one complaint, it was the room was either a little bit too small (I felt like I was bumping i to myself) or badly laid out. In fairness, it did include a Galician window balcony, but it was half closed off to the room and you never really seem to get the benefit of it. Also, these properties are old and in that part of town, I'd imagine design options are restricted, so this it might be an unfair gripe.

The location was perfect and very central to everything that we wanted to do. The staff was very friendly, everything was clean and comfortable, and our room was quiet at night even with the central location. We had a wonderful stay!

Handy for everywhere I wanted to be whether it was the maritime walk, the old town or the beach.
Very friendly & welcoming staff, comfortable bed, decent breakfast..and very good value for money.

Poor insulation, noisy and it does not help people are just rude and have no consideration for other guests
