About this villa rental
Chiodo is a beautiful stone-built farmhouse set high in the hills between Lucca and Pisa, with magnificent views on the valley below. It is located very close to the small village of Vorno, where guests can find shops and restaurants. The location combines perfectly town facilities, with its proximity to Lucca, and the perfect quiet of a sheltered countryside. The location is also very convenient for those who wish to visit the main Tuscan tourist destinations, since Chiodo is located only eight kilometers from the motorway entrance/exit. The villa has been recently restored after a period of intensive renovations to transform the villa into an ideal holiday home. The architects in charge of the renovation project have succeeded in blending the character of a traditional Tuscan farmhouse with modern design. The result is a beautiful combination between traditional Tuscan materials and contemporary style. The Dutch owners have been tenants themselves in Tuscany for many years and have equipped this villa with all the modern appliances and facilities they were expecting in a rental property, including an efficient internet connection. The owners have furnished the interior to a very high standard.
The beautiful swimming pool has been installed in the most panoramic position on the estate and has an ozone system allowing to avoid chlorine. The very spacious and well equipped kitchen opens directly onto the large courtyard and garden overlooking the valley, ideal for eating outside or just relaxing and enjoying the peace and lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
The location of the villa is ideal for sightseeing as it is very close by the city of Lucca and Pisa as well as the Versilia coast with its many beach resort and short drive from Florence and many of the surrounding wine estates.
Cleaning service is included 15 hours.

A lovely quiet property in a beautiful setting just out of Vorno. Very handily placed for Lucca and the coast. The pool area is great, the dining area looks over the hills, and the bedrooms are large as is the kitchen. Daily cleaning service was a great bonus! The hosts communicated very well in advance and while we were there.

The house was well equipped in a beautiful setting. The kitchen had everything need and was exceptional well equipped. Pool and gardens were well kept with great views.

We came back yesterday from a wonderful week at Chiodo. I think it is the most beautiful house I have ever stayed in. All the rooms were so tasteful and comfortable and with stunning bathrooms, a great kitchen and gorgeous pool we had absolutely no complaints.

Amazing property! Spacious, stylish, 'hotelish' with daily cleaning, a really large pool for swimming and cooling off plus not least a fantastic view from the courtyard when you having your meals.
