About this cottage rental
Newly renovated 2 bedrooms beachfront recreational home, 35 min. drive from Reykjavik and 25 min from Thingvellir. Kitchen open plan living room with a amazing view over Hvalfjördur, a 30m2 loft with sleeping accommodation for 2 persons, and one bedrooms with king size bed. Large garden with a big terrace facing south.

The house is located 10 meters from the shoreline, surrounded by greenery and trees and in a quiet picturesque surroundings.
Beautiful and warm Cottage. Open kitchen, dining area and living room with a fireplace. Two rooms with good double beds and bathroom with a shower and washing machine.
There is a new hot tub on the property overlooking the fjord.

We had such a wonderful stay! Stefan was great, check in was awesome, the hot tub was really nice. I love birds and I got to bird watch and see seals. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Everything was just perfect. Cozy/well-appointed cottage on the water front. Easy to get to and easy to contact host. Perfect launch point and landing spot for our adventures around Iceland/Reykjavik. Highly recommend!

The location and quality of the cottage was lovely, but the owners returned during one of our outings, let themselves inside the premises, and dropped off some chair cushions of their own accord. This was unsettling and we understand they were probably only trying to be helpful, but the whole point of renting an entire cottage is to have privacy. The bed linens were rather rough/scratchy. Overall, it was a very nice stay.
