Amazing location surrounded by the nature of the Pilliga forest, gorgeous farm animals, comfortable room & bed, adequate shared bathroom. Wonderful walks on the property and only an hour from the Warrumbungles as well. Lovely cafe / restaurant with excellent food and drinks. The chance to meet and socialise with other travellers. Dog friendly :)
Noise muffling outdoor carpet (marine carpet) or similar on the metal stairway to the Farmhouse rooms would be a great addition as would some basic cooking facilities in the shared kitchen area at the Farmhouse - a simple induction cooktop and a saucepan and frypan.

This beautiful community is like a generous hug - full of creativity, quirky spaces, and plenty of wildlife. The cafe is a wonderful bonus.

The people, the staff, the location, the food, the surroundings, the animals, the quiet, the beautiful sky at night. Really everything. We had a room with a shared bathroom, which was also really ok - we decided it was ok for us for the night.

Great location, great pottery, staff were very friendly and beds were comfy and clean. Farm animals were great and the vibe of the place very welcoming.
Wifi wasn’t working at the farmhouse, toaster for the farmhouse needs replacing (half broken), no ability to lock room doors (except from inside), no ability to control in room heater (freezing in winter), provided BBQ wouldn’t light, Guinea fowl were very cute but not nesting on the roof of the farmhouse squawking.
Rocked up at 8am to the bluebird cafe to WOOFing staff eating breakfast which is wholesome but when you wait half an hour for a coffee while they make their own ones before yours is a bit heartbreaking
