Spoiler: I love Villa Charme! Reviewer's tag: Villa Charme is the kind of place you WANT to take off your shoes at the entry! Highlights: Peace, tranquility, comfort, home The three most important things about Villa Charm are location, location, and... host! The location is absolutely perfect. Half of the view is of the ocean blue water with a small slice of white water. The other half is of the buildings of Armação. The water is beautiful during the day, the city lights beautiful at night. The ocean waves provide a lovely rhythmic ambience without being intrusive. I don't have the words to adequately describe Villa Charme's host, Graça. She personally met me on the first day of my extended stay and she was available for questions by WhatsApp throughout. I felt as if she truly cared about my happiness. Graça has decorated Villa Charme with taste and thoughtfulness. Overall it is comfortable as well as functional. The kitchen is a sufficient size for a one bedroom apartment. It comes complete with apartment sized refrigerator, four-element stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, and a full set of excellent stainless steel pots. The jack-and-jill bathroom should make any couple happy. The exterior areas of Villa Charme are definitely overwhelming. The property grounds are well designed and immaculately maintained. We spent about 4 weeks at this villa, it met our every need. There was 3 of us for the first 1.5 weeks then just 2 of us for the remainder of our stay. There is one bedroom so my adult son slept comfortably in the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals, there's a dining room table with 4 chairs and a patio with a view of the ocean, the property and the town. The washer and dryer also came in handy. The location is excellent. We would walk out in our bare feet and be on the beautiful 7km beach within 2 minutes. There are several grocery stores within walking distance (15-20 min) as well as many restaurants and cafes. Armacao itself is centrally located so you can drive almost anywhere in the Algarve in under an hour. Our host Grace was a pleasure to deal with. She was very accommodating when we had to delay our arrival by several hours. When we arrived she gave us a comprehensive overview of the property and provides us with tips about the area. When we did have questions she would respond quickly and was very helpful. We had a very positive experience, if we return to the area we will certainly book this villa again.

The apartment and property are beautiful. The beach and cliffs awesome! We went on a boat tour to the caves, which were stunning. There are great restaurants within walking distance. A lovely walking “centro”. The apartment is quiet, well appointed and clean. Overall a fantastic holiday. Thank you Graca for sharing your lovely paradise with us !!

This was our first VRBO experience and our first trip to Portugal. It could not have been better. VILLA CHARME was as pictured in a beautiful location and on a beautiful well manicured property that overlooked the beach and ocean with our own private gate to the beach stairs. We had free parking for our rental car. Our host Grace , was amazing!!! Quick to answer our requests on the vrbo site before our arrival. She met us at the property and kept in constant contact with us , supplying us with information on all needs to assure our pleasant vacation. We spent a few days in Lisbon and she gave us all the guidance necessary to have a wonderful time there. We spent 7 weeks at this beautiful place and we would recommend it to anyone and we hope one day to return. Thank you Grace!!

Die Wohnung ist komplett veraltet und bedarf dringend einer radikalen Sanierung. Statt Lattenrost hat das Bett eine Spanplatte, die Küche lädt nicht wirklich zum zubereiten von Speisen ein. Die Spülmaschine wäscht alles andere als sauber, beim beladen ist bereits Vorsicht geboten das nichts auseinander fällt bzw. die Maschine nicht um fällt. Das Tiefkühlfach vom Kühlschrank weist überdeutlichen Schimmelbefall auf! Wesentlich besser ist leider auch das Bad nicht. Lichtblick: der Strand, der ist wirklich schön! Aber immer nur schön Richtung Meer schauen, Landeinwärts steht eine unglaubliche Betonwüste welche auch wiederum alles andere als schön, gepflegt oder sauber zu bewerten ist. Gut war der Empfang der Chefin und vor allem Ihre Tips zu den Restaurants welche wirklich hilfreich und verlässlich waren. Gesamt daher nur 2 von 5 Sternen.

We have had an amazing time at villa Charme. We were hosted by Madalena who was so lovely and welcoming. Her place is located in a perfect spot just few steps away from a beautiful sandy beach, close to all amenities etc with outstanding view from balcony overlooking sea. Well equipped kitchen if you like cooking. Very nice pool area with shallow one for kids what was perfect as we had 4 y/o boy who absolutely loved it. As family of 3 we had splendid time, surely will be back. Thank you Madalena ,obrigadinho,

Ficamos hospedados no Charme Villa, apartamento número 14 do Clube Nautilus, por 44 dias. Local maravilhoso. A Madalena nos deu uma recepção muito boa, nos explicando muito sobre Armação de Pera e sobre o apartamento e Clube. O clube tem uma piscina com wifi livre, onde podemos ler e aproveitar um banho de sol e de piscina. A praia, bem em frente é linda. Imagens que ficarão gravadas para sempre em nossas mentes. Caminhar nas areias limpíssimas de Armação de Pera é muito bom. Todo apartamento funcionou muito bem durante nossa estadia. Tudo perfeito. Obrigado Madalena, seu cuidado conosco foi constante durante toda estadia e isso nos trouxe muito conforto."

We stayed at villa Charme for 2 months, lovely apartment with stunning views. Madalena the owner is a very nice young lady, who took time to show us through the facilities, apartment and the beach access, also gave us advice on locations nearby. The apartment is in a quiet, safe and peaceful area. Great base location for touring the algarve. Highly recommended and would stay again if travelling in the area.
