About this house rental

Situated in Formia, this attractive house for $105 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. "Mare Dentro" is an independent villa with a private Mediterranean garden. It is a few hundred meters from the sea and is located in a quiet area away from the noise of the main road. It consists of a small kitchen, a bedroom with 2/3 beds and an adjacent bathroom, a large living room with dining and relaxation area, and a double bedroom with private bathroom. In a corner of the garden guests have at their disposal a comfortable masonry shower with hot water, next to it another space, fresh and secluded, in the shade of our olive tree. For guests staying for more than 6 nights, it is possible to request the use of the washing machine, this service is on request and requires a supplement. The property also has two reserved parking spaces. We welcome up to five people and we cannot accommodate pets. "Mare Dentro" is our holiday home and we offer it to our guests in periods when we don't live there. We have devoted all our care and passion for years to make it our place of the heart. We would like to receive "travelers" who respect it and live it as if it were their home. "Mare Dentro" is located about 500 m from the Riviera di Ulisse, in a strategic position: from the port you can reach the Pontine Islands by ferry; with a pleasant walk you can reach the Roman Porticciolo and the Monti Aurunci Park; nearby Gaeta, Sperlonga and the villa of Tiberio, Minturno, Montecassino, Sabaudia and Circeo; just over 1h by train Naples and Rome. The owners are available to offer you help so that "Mare Dentro" remains in your memories for a long time.

We had a wonderful stay dispute the awful torrential storms we had during the first 5 days of our stay. Signoria Pina made sure we were fine and treated us with wonderful homemade delicious delights. We will definitely be staying there when we visit the area. House very functional and clean. You will enjoy your stay.

Das Haus ist sehr schön, wie auf den Bildern. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin bzw mit ihrer Familie war super und wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Die Vermieterin war immer hilfsbereit mit tollen Tipps. Im Garten gibt es verschiedene gemütliche Plätze zum Verweilen. Einfach erholsam!

Un grand merci à la propriétaire et à sa famille pour la grande attention ayant permis un accueil de qualité dans la casetta. Chaque détail de la maison est pensé. Le résultat en est que Mare Dentro est une location très agréable pou des vacances en famille : spacieuse,propre, fraîche dans un pays chaud, calme, très bien équipée et très jolie. Un grand merci à toute la famille pour leur accueil respectueux, leur disponibilité, leur sens du service, leur attention discrète mais toujours bienveillante. En quittant, nous avons déjà envie d'y revenir. D'autant que 6 jours fut une durée insuffisante pour allier les plaisirs de la très belle plage et toutes les richesses à découvrir de Rome à Naples

Je tiens à informer les futurs vacanciers que la propriétaire habite la maison de ses parents qui donne sur la location. Si d'un premier abord, cela peut être sympathique avec des venues plusieurs fois par jour pour donner un pot de confiture ou pour indiquer que la location est infestée de moustiques (attention d'ailleurs à ne pas ouvrir les moustiquaires à chaque fenêtre sous peine de réprimande de la propriétaire...), néanmoins, étant en vacances en famille, nous n'avons pas envie d'être dérangés. A notre arrivée, nous avons été étonnés de ne pas trouver de lave vaisselle ni de grill pain contrairement à ce qui est (ou était) indiqué dans le descriptif. De plus, la deuxième chambre ne convient qu'à des enfants en bas âge compte tenu de la taille des lits ce qui n'était indiqué nul part lors de notre réservation. Notre fille de 22 ans a donc dû déplier le petit canapé lit du salon pour dormir. Enfin, cette seconde chambre ainsi que la cuisine ne sont pas climatisées contrairement à ce qui nous a été précisé par mail. Dès lors, la chambre comprenant un velux n'a pas pu être utilisée en raison de la taille des lits mais également car la température était trop importante. Le plus difficile à accepter a été l'état des lieux lors de notre départ. En effet, pour une tâche d'huile sur la table extérieure qui n'était pas traitée, la propriétaire nous a retiré une partie de la caution. Il est donc légitime, selon nous, de trouver ceci inacceptable. Nous avons rendu la maisonnette propre, nettoyée, les draps sales pliés, la vaisselle nettoyée et le sol balayé. C'est trop facile de retirer un montant de la caution sans que le vacancier ne puisse intervenir. Cette caution a été payée 5 mois à l'avance en même temps que la réservation. Si malgré tout vous souhaitez réserver cet appartement, je vous conseille d'être aussi maniaque que la propriétaire sinon prévoyez de dire adieu à votre caution.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour chez Anna Maria, qui a été très sympathique. La maison est joliment décorée et très confortable. C'est un bon point de départ pour découvrir la région, mais la location d'une voiture est essentielle, vu que la maison est excentrée par rapport au centre de la ville de Formia.

Beautiful property, charming host

The property has been beautifully designed and decorated, we found it quite delightful, private and really comfortable. We really enjoyed meeting Anna Maria who is a charming host and gave us much good advice and information about the area. Her parents are in a separate property nearby and are really lovely people who, whilst repecting the privacy of the guests, were anxious to help with any problems or enquiries they may have. We loved the beach clubs and really enjoyed the well cared for sand and perfect sea. It was a great holiday.

Anna Maria et sa famille ont été pour nous le petit plus de notre sejour. Quel acceuil! Une superbe region, une maison très confortable et en prime des hôtes pleins de petites attentions en toute discrétion...Nous avons certe profité des richesses de la region mais avons eu la chance de vivre une tres belle experience humaine! Encore un grand merci à Anna Maria, Pina et Antonio sans oublier Dalma et Domenico.
