The Velvet Room was simply outstanding, from the furnishings, the outdoor patio and very comfortable bed.
The clawfoot tub was a terrific bonus..
The entire staff were very professional friendly and attentive.
We loved the saltwater pool. Very peaceful and in a private environment.
We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant

Facilities are beautiful. The room magnificently appointed. The views unbeatable. The history curiously intriguing. The staff (after an initial snafu) gallant and friendly. The Mariachi band superb. The dinner delicious and delightful. What's not to love!
Initial presentation of our family for enterance to our room was confrontational by the concierge with demands for arrest of their personal ID's. Unacceptable behavior to my mind. The following day, with recognition of my family members, the concierge was inviting and generously hospitable, thank you.

All the food we enjoyed (breakfast, dinner, drinks) were excellent from a quality and taste standpoint, and importantly, consistently so. The staff were friendly, and the location at the top of the hill was away from the noise of Old Town (thankfully), but only a short walk if you wanted to get to the hustle and bustle. Having stayed at Pier 57 previously, we prefer this area of PV for that reason. Being as it's a boutique hotel, you're really not sharing the property with many other guests, so it's quite exclusive in that regard. However, due to the caliber of food, the restaurant gets busy during dinner time, but it's all high end clientele and it's a great atmosphere (the dinner sunsets were spectacular!) We will be staying at Casa Kimberly again, and would most certainly recommend this property to a friend.
