About this house rental
A classic, low‑key 1950s beach house with relaxed coastal charm. Compact but well equipped, it has everything you need for a comfortable, no‑fuss holiday. The real standout is the private tennis court, a rare and special feature, along with a spa pool on the deck (available in season).
Just a short walk to the sand dunes and a safe swimming beach with beautifully warm water in summer. Enjoy beach days, family tennis matches, collecting pipis at low tide, and relaxed BBQs on the deck.
In the cooler months, curl up indoors with the log burner keeping the house warm and cosy. An easy walk to local cafés (Hey Coastie, Long Beach), the legendary Olde Beach Bakery, and a well‑stocked Four Square. Close to Waikanae Golf Course.
Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$75.00 per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);

The Bach exceeded our expectations. So well equipped and everything is thought through for having a good time. Really nice to have good quality mattress, too. We had a fabulous weekend. Thank you
