This place is just as listed. The views are amazing! This condo is clean and comfortable. This is the best stocked Vrbo I have ever stayed in. They had more than enough towels, kitchen equipment and beach items. There is a washer and dryer, but I didn’t spend my vacation doing my towels like at some places that give you 1 set for each bathroom. Beds are comfortable and there was never a bad nights sleep with the ocean breeze and waves crashing sound. I will miss this most. Everything was in working order and clean. I would stay here again if I get back to Kauai!

The condo is in a great location and the views of the ocean are AMAZING ! We had a few problems with the door lock, some may have been our fault, just be patient and call the rental office if you can’t figure it out. In my personal opinion the condo furniture is slightly uncomfortable but I may be being picky. If you are looking for a quiet place with amazing views this is it.

This place was just as advertised. The view was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed. The condo was spacious and comfortable. We watched the sunrise every morning from our lanai and the back yard. It was beautiful.
There was a trail down to a cave below our condo, and it was so cool.
I was worried about not having air conditioning, but the winds cooled the condo down and kept it comfortable.
We had a small problem getting in the door initially, but I was able to call management and they answered immediately and got me a new code for the door.
There is a Foodland and many restaurants within 5 minutes.
I would highly recommend this condo for anyone staying in Princeville.

What a lovely, peaceful place to stay. My husband and I, and our best friends of 35+years stayed here for 3 nights, before heading to the other side of the island. We could not have asked for a better experience. Beautiful and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

Great views hands down. Good property for a comfortable stay. There is no AC or Dishwasher.
During our stay there was a water main break that effected this unit with no water for 48 hrs.
Communication with mgmt was effective however needed quite a few emails of persuasion for them to do the right thing else would have landed up with just sorry for the inconvenience and a home-depot 5 gallon bucket to flush toilet which was the only solution offered initially. They did move us for a night to another property at 8pm or so eventually which we had to leave before 10 am.
I’d say we salvaged our vacation and eventually had a good time overall.
I would recommend however be aware these were built in late 60’s early 70’s so break downs can occur or at lest did during our stay.
Princeville is way up north and most activities are quite a drive which is one’s preference however something to keep in mind.
Unit is well stocked and well maintained. Bbq and snorkeling equipment is available for use.

The view was outstanding. Watched the dawn every AM, and we’re treated to whale games almost every day. We were fortunate with the weather, so we spent a lot of time on the narrow lanai.
We had been to Princeville before, so we knew we would be close to Kilauea and Hanalei. Once again, enjoyed time at the Bistro and at Bar Acuda. We visited Common Ground and Limihuli, and went on the sunset tour at the Makai Golf Course, which we highly recommend.
The only sour note was that we were on a middle floor and our upstairs neighbors were extremely noisy, which we didn’t even consider in making the reservation. It is so beautiful in this location, that I’m not sure that would stop me from
us from coming back.

View is amazing. No AC didn’t end up being a big deal but we were never there during the day.. Tons of stuff if you want to cook there. Pool isn’t heated and no hot tube so just go to the beach.
Rainbows end right where this property is regularly so that’s nice.

The condo was beautiful and very well equipped. The view was fantastic - seemed like you could see forever. Only difficulty was that Princeville is far north and most of what we wanted to do was on the rest of the island. We spent lots of time (40 min to 90 min) to get to our tour boat, luau and Waimea Canyon. Driving back to Princeville on the twisty roads after dark was not fun. Not the condo’s fault but something travelers should know.

Amazing location, perfectly located on the North Shore. So wonderful to have a washer/dryer and full kitchen. Comfortable bed, and so relaxing falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. Loved watching the nenes in the morning from the lanai.
Noise between floors can be loud, but all upstairs neighbors responded in a friendly manner when we communicated with them and they softened their steps.

This week experience was very different from our week experience on the Big Island. There, we chose a remote location on purpose almost in a jungle like setting. The property is well kept and maintained. There is a pool for convenience. You'll want to stop at Costco right at the Airport in Lihue. Foodland is really much more expensive, but it is in the community (essentially). Just be smart about what you buy at Costco and you'll do fine, even just 2 people.
There are people all around all the time. We met some very nice people. We've never stayed in a condo / resort community so it was good to experience what that feels like.

I tend to hold back on the negatives and focus on the positives when comes to reviews but I have to break my rules on this one. First all, the condo was beautiful with stunning ocean views and the sound of the ocean waves were soothing, just as I had hoped for. But on second night back to the condo, my son screamed when he saw a big cockroach (some 2 inches long) in his bedroom. We were both scared to death. Since I was the only adult there, I and no one else had to kill it or we would not be able to sleep. After some frightening and unsuccessful attempts followed by a long stalemate, it finally reappeared when it crawled across to the bathroom. There I sprayed at it again with Windex and smashed it hard with a toilet brush holder. It dead at the corner. Me pale as a ghost. I didn't feel triumphant at all as now I had a dead roach on premise. I contacted the agency to ask to switch to another condo, but they could not, which understandably so due to high season. I then asked to have someone come to pick up the dead roach and clean the bathroom but I was ignored. After a third ask over the course of two days, I was told by the agency that no one would come just to pick up a dead bug. I was instantly reduced to being petty. So for the next three days, we did not use that bathroom and my son shared my bed while the image of a dead roach was never out of mind out of sight. The agency didn't offer any compensations. There were ants too in the kitchen and lots of them if you don't wipe down the sink with detergent, again not a big deal to me but maybe to some people. So if not because of the big cockroach and the unsympathetic rental agency, this would have been a fabulous stay.

Beautiful views
This 2/2 condo has amazing views from both bedrooms and the family room. It is just over 1000 sq ft and gave my family of 4 ample room. The wife and I spent most of our time while at the condo on the balcony that is right at the bluff's edge and thus giving a wide view of the ocean. The condo is on the 2nd floor of a 3 level building but the parking lot is aligned with the 2nd level. This made for an easy in/out with our luggage and no steps to navigate. We spent most of our days out and about utilizing the beach chairs (3), cooler and boogie boards (2). There were ample beach towels that we washed as needed using the condo's front loading washer and dryer. As stated the condo does not have a/c, but if we used the fans, ceiling and portable, and open the windows and we were fine.

Incredible views and location
We absolutely loved our stay here. Located in Princeville, the views of the ocean were absolutely stunning. We loved waking up with the sun and the beautiful sunsets in the evening. Very close to good shops and a short drive to Hanalei (~5 minutes), we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay here. The unit had everything we needed -- would 100% stay here again next time!

Exceptional view
We arrived with wine and chocolates awaiting as well as Hawaiian music playing. Very comfortable and many amenities ( paper towels, tissues, baggies, detergent etc) all included. It would have been perfect if there was a dishwasher but it was not a deterrent. The view from the balcony is fabulous. The staff was always quick in responding . Love the North shore

Amazing views!
This was our first time in Kauai and we were amazed at how wonderful the condo was. The location of Princeville was perfiect for coming and going easily from Hanalei, over to the east and southern sides of the island. The condo was nicely appointed with most kitchen items, 3 beach chairs, some snorkle equipment and beach towels. The veiw is simply amazing. You are able to sit on the balcony or even wake up and see the ocean from your bed. We loved it and would love to go back.

Lovely condo with magnificent views
We loved our stay in Princeville, right on the bluff overlooking the ocean, and only minutes from some of the best beaches in Kauai. We arrived after the long flight from the mainland and found the lights on low with lovely Hawaiian music and a welcome gift including chocolates and a bottle of wine. Welcome to Hawaii!
We found the condo to be clean and well-equipped in the kitchen and with beach gear including chairs, boogie boards, and a large and a medium portable cooler with reuseable ice packs in the freezer. The furnishing was just right for a Hawaiian vacation. The views from both bedrooms, living room, and lanai never got old. The grounds were immaculate with tons of flowers.
Some minor issues - there is no dishwasher as stated in previous reviews; not a big deal for us. There no blinds in the 2nd bedroom so it would be hard to sleep in there since the sun comes up on that side. We had a few issues with the electronic lock but that could have been operator error, although for our stay in Poipu we were able to use that same lock system (Yale, I think) with no problems at all.

Can't imagine a better location. You have a perfect view of the ocean from all rooms. The interior is comfortable and it feels more like a home then a rental. We stayed here through a big storm and the ocean was spectacular. The thunder of the waves was so calming. We had everything we needed and we're already making plans to return. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I stayed with one other couple at this dream oaisis. Not only do you fall asleep to the crashing ocean waves, but you also wake up to a beautiful view off the lanai to the cliffs and never ending ocean.
Also the place was imaculately clean with all the amenties that you would ever need. We stayed a total of 11 days at the condo and we never needed to rent any snorkel gear, boogie boards, or beach chairs because the condo offered it all. And even after a long day of hiking the Kalalau Trail, or full beach day, the place had everything you needed to shower off and even do laundry. With our trip being so active and being there so many days, the washer and dryer saved our lives.
The host was so responsive and helped us with anything at a moments notice.
Overall, we picked the place based upon location, fair price, and beautiful pictures. And when we got there it was even more beautiful than we expected.
