Loya was fantastic. breakfast was excellent, just had a wait for our seats.
Allowing smoking, cigar smoking in the rooms, which I complained about and selling cigars in the premises.

Whats not to like in a taj ? Its the best bet to have.
The rooms are a bit small for Taj. And the breakfast needs more tables.

Central location
Their service has really fallen. The day we stayed was crowded due to the ai convention, and the staff was swamped. We ordered room service, and had to call 3-4 times just to get the food trolley taken back. The staff at the Orient express started restricting us for taking pictures. Finally at the time of exit, the valet forgot to hand me the ticket and then the guards wouldn't let us leave until I raised a complaint. Felt more like a government facility than the Taj we remember.
