The room itself was OK: clean, simple, the air conditioning worked, the TV worked, and the shower was clean and basic. Zero extras, but considering the price, it was acceptable for simply spending one night near the airport.
I tried to contact the hotel 24 hours before my arrival via Booking.com, email, WhatsApp, and by phone — no one responded through any of these channels.
The hotel’s website states that a 24/7 airport transfer is available for €7 one way. I repeatedly tried to arrange this transfer, but since nobody answered me, it was simply impossible. Unfortunately, I had to book another airport transfer that cost twice as much.
I arrived at around 23:30, and the first impression honestly felt like something out of a horror movie. Complete darkness. Me dropped off by the main road next to a huge parking area with practically no lighting at all. I had to walk between parked cars towards the only illuminated window we could see. Fortunately, that turned out to be the reception.
But breakfast was the absolute highlight and not in a good way. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because breakfast was included. I honestly haven’t seen anything quite this “unique” in Europe for a very long time.
You have to search for forks and spoons yourself in a drawer. The coffee machine didn’t work, so I had to go to reception to get coffee. When they made me a cappuccino, they initially gave me just milk, oops, they forgot to add the coffee.
The selection, presentation and overall aesthetics of the breakfast were beyond disappointing. It felt less like breakfast at a hotel and more like a group of construction workers had packed some food and gone on a fishing picnic.
Absolutely terrible breakfast.
Ironically, two days after I had already checked out and left the hotel, they finally replied to my Booking.com message saying that yes, I could book the airport shuttle. Very helpful - just a little too late. :)
