The location is amazing as it lies amidst a rainforest near Sepilok which is easy to visit thanks to the complementary shuttle service. The food there was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly. Water refill is also available.
The main downside was that the dormitory was really hot even at night which made sleeping not so pleasant. There was no hot water in the shower.

The rooms were simple but charming. We loved the outdoor showers/bathroom plus the beautiful view from the balcony over the jungle. Great for wildlife spotting. The staff were also really helpful, friendly and kind, helping us get onto a “fully booked” night tour! Free shuttle to orangs etc also great!
The price is comparable to the other properties available in the area. It benefits from a similar proximity to the Orang rehab centre etc but the facilities themselves are not comparable (e.g. absence of pool). The price shd probably be a little lower therefore to reflect that difference. Also, please feed the dog. She is painfully thin. You clearly like her. Show it.

The location in the jungle was nice
The room was not very comfortable and it was never cleaned in 4 days. The bed was always full of small pieces of dirt coming from the wooden ceiling
