Charming hotel, welcoming interior design. Spacious rooms and beds, excellent breakfast, pool area was great. Very close to gorgeous beach. In the middle of village centre, yet quiet and cool. We loved it!

Parking not available at hotel (overbooked) but easy to find elsewhere (300 m away at 2 euros/day)

Location .

Supposed to be four star. Expected a better standard. Bed was rock hard. Pillows awful. Staff indifferent. Breakfast bad. No windows in the room. Two star at best.

Lovely pool at a lovely hotel

Loved the swimming pool - big enough to swim properly in - and the garden area with plenty of sun loungers. A nice outdoor seating area too for relaxing - lovely furniture there and decor inside. The room was fine and very good value overall - I think we might have been lucky as the rates were due to rise the day after because of the seasonal 'Tuna Route'! Great location just a few minutes from the wonderful beach.

A one night stay and opportunity to dine at El Campero in the town

We were allocated a lovely room, large and airy with a large terrace overlooking the pool. It was close to the main part of town and a short walk to the beach. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Everything was perfect, other than the pillows, which I found quite hard and not particularly comfortable to sleep on, but I would not wish to make too much of that.

Lovely little hotel.

Lovely set up. Pretty pool/garden area with grass. Underground parking available (pre-booked at €15 per night) Nice little indoor bar. Food also available. Room: spacious, huge double bed which was very comfortable. Bathroom with shower and shower over bath. Spacious wardrobes. Mini-fridge.

My only disappointment was the window in our room. i booked a double room with balcony. Ended up with a huge and very comfortable room (with sofa bed). However the balcony was actually an open terrace & the tiny window opened on to the street at ground level. This precluded sleeping with the windows open unfortunately. Perhaps this could have been changed at reception but as we were only there for one night it was less of an issue. The a/c blew hot air which was reported to reception but seemingly not fixed.

Our stay there was great and we had a lovely time. Staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Although it is not summer I noticed that young children with their parents remained in the Jakuzee for over an hour not allowing other adults, maybe because of respect to use them. There was no member of staff overviewing this and no First Aider in case of any emergency in the pool or area.

Exceptional

Lovely Room, newly refurbished, comfortable beds, amazing bathroom with a fabulous free standing large bath and separate walk in shower. The grounds and pool area were very well kept and the staff were lovely, extra special mention to Ana. Location was perfect, short 5 min walk to the beach and in the town with all bars and restaurants but the rooms are not impacted by being so close to everything. Parking was available and reasonable at 15e per night. We can not wait to return! Thanks Dona Lola team :)

Ideal hotel for staying in Zahara.

Staff very friendly, location great close to the main center and beach. Clean comfortable room with bath tub and shower. Complementary shower items. WiFi good. Very good in-house restaurant. International TV channels available. Garage available.

PERFECT

HUGE room with huge bathroom. All balconies look into the courtyard where the pool and jacuzzi is. Very quiet yet central location.

Very beautiful architecture in traditional Andalusian style, spacy, solid, yet with modern features such as up-to-date aircon.

Breakfast is somehow sloppy/unloving and lacks fresh fruit The staff seems a little bit too much settled and could be more attentive

Good value for money in a great location if you want good restaurants and beaches nearby.

Location, cleanliness and layout were good. Hotel wasn't too busy. Breakfast choice was good. We were able to stay by the pool and use the parking beyond our checkout time without additional charge.

receptionists were effective, if lacking in warmth.

Great hotel in a perfect location.

Location was perfect, pool facilities were great, we enjoyed spending most days by the pool, plenty of good restaurants just outside the hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, would definitely come back.

We booked a double bed, but got two single ones pushed together, not the end of the world, but shouldn't be advertised as a double if it's not available.

Nice place without doubt

The pool, the jacuzzi in the garden, the garden was lovely, spacious room, quite, very close to the beach and restaurants, nice staff, very Cleo, comfortable beds… I wanted to remain one day more!

Breakfast was a bit poor for the category of the hotel and the price, not the best quality in the products
