Location and viewing platform - the grounds - the excellent shuttle service - the links to the train delivering baggage directly to room, the bus departure point for Anchorage ( generally the services to and from the hotel and the immediate area were excellent. Room very comfortable.
Check in was slow - too many people at same time and insufficient staff to deal: lack of a kettle in room and reception had no idea if there was one and offered to deliver if one found - no delivery and no further update; microwave to boil water was difficult to find and again a seeming lack of knowledge and interest from reception; grab and go too expensive and mediocre: felt the hotel whilst in a great location and see above for exceelent transpoort was not really reaching international standards despit the price.

Beautiful lobby and view. Nice to have espresso in the morning
Unable to adjust temperature in the room. Was very hot so we slept very poorly. We opened windows but since there’s no cross ventilation it never cooled down
