I love this hotel. Everything about it exudes true hospitality, cleanliness, refinement, and an unrestrained commitment to Quality, in every sense of the word!
Unfortunately. Beau Site is being held hostage by two new neighboring hotels on either side of its location. They are two huge, crass, vulgar monstrosities that border on barbarism, seriously affecting the beauty and calm that Beau Site once offered, especially with its lovely stretch of private beach. The Eagle Resort on One Side and the Triumph Hotel on the other, make it their business to pollute the environment with every imaginable form of noisy private watercraft: gigantic jetskis, jet cars. Banana boats, sea-doos, twirling floats towed by roaring speedboats, yo name a few. At least six giant pleasure ships carrying dozens of tourists gather a few meters from Besu Site and remain most of the day, blaring blaring loud recorded “Shabi” music thst pounds the eardrums of guests who came hoping to hear the gentle sounds of the surf. It’s like bringing the traffic of Meydan Tahrir to Matruh! Very sad. And very much a sign of the direction Egyptian society is headed.
