About this villa rental
Located in Lagoa, this attractive villa for $293 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This beautiful white villa offers peace, space and privacy in a colorful flower and palm garden with panoramic ocean views. The house is situated on a 6300 m2 plot in an area of rolling hills with vineyards, cork oak and almond trees. The villa has a private pool, plenty of shade outside, air-conditioning and a large living room including a fireplace. The area where this villa is built is one of the few strips close to the coast where the original landscape of the Algarve is still preserved. Beaches: The beaches of Praia da Marinha and Benagil are within 1 km distance from the house. These beaches are located between famous rock formations and are child-friendly. Praia da Marinha, voted as one of the top three finest beaches in Europe, is just 900 meters away. The beach of Benagil has a number of beautiful restaurants & terraces for lunch or dinner, including fresh seafood just taken from the morning catches of the fishermen at the same beach. The busier resorts Carvoeiro and Armação de Pêra are 3 to 5 miles from the house. The villa is built in the heart of Caramujeira. Today, it is forbidden by law to build in the immediate surroundings of the villa, which makes this place unique. From several sun decks, you can sit in front of the ocean. At night, you will see the fishermen going out, while in the early morning, you can see them coming back. When I am there myself, I visit the beach at least once when the fishermen arrive very early. There, you can still witness the ancient tradition of trading fish on the beach of Benagil. The restaurant owners from neighboring towns often come to buy their fresh fish. The nearest supermarket is approximately a 5-minute drive away. Bigger shopping centers can be found within a 15 to 20-minute drive. It is advisable to rent a car during the entire stay at the villa.

A truly unforgettable holiday!!
Carolina met us at the property, showed us around, offered advice and gave her recommendations, such a lovely, helpful and friendly woman.
The villa was absolutely amazing! We stayed here as two families of 4, the villa was perfectly big enough that we didn’t get under each others feet all the time, the pool was beautiful and we loved the outdoor eating area and the fact that it was in the shade which provided a welcomed break from the sun for the kids was just what they needed!!

A fantastic two weeks at Casa Milonga, a lovely spacious and well equipped villa with lots of outdoor space and a perfect pool. Private yet with sea views and great beaches within 15mins walk. Garden is very pretty and the red Bourgainvillea frames the outdoor area providing any shade needed. Very responsive communications with the owners and Carolina does a wonderful job with all things at the property. Thank you from us all for a perfect holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay- the property was lovely, the gardens were great, the pool was fantastic! Our group had 7, age 2 to 68, and everyone had plenty of room and privacy.
The only small issues we had were that there were a lot of flies and the dishwasher and AC in the master bedroom acted up. The property manager promptly sent someone to deal with them. This is just the sort of unavoidable issue that sometimes happens, but it didn’t detract from our stay. The flies were more puzzling/ we worked hard to keep doors and windows closed but there were an unusual amount on the porch that then kept getting in the house. They weren’t by the pool at all though, so laying by the pool continued to be the most fabulous experience.
We would be happy to return and stay here, and recommend fully to future guests.

The home was ideal for our family. Everyone had their own "space" and the kitchen was well supplied with everything needed. Beds very comfortable.

Everyone was thrilled to be in the beautiful villa. We laughed over home-cooked meals, made the short hike to the beach, swam together in the lovely pool surrounded by beautiful flowers and did not want to leave. Raul was a fantastic host. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!!

The villa was even nicer than the photos and provided us with everything that we needed.
It is a spectacular home and we would go back in a heartbeat!
The host and other people we dealt with who own and manage the property were fantastic, helpful and very gracious.
If you want a family vacation of a lifetime, I would seriously recommend that you book this place. I am sure you will enjoy it as much as we did!!!

The house was very nice . The bathroom at the entrance door had an odor that should be investigated. Only one kitchen towel was provided The bathroom towels we old and they were no pool towels provided. We paided for cleaning service but we had to stripe our own beds and had to dump all our garbage before leaving or we would be charged an additional fee. The plactic shelf was broken and taped back together and feel off breaking a carton of milk.

The house was great and spacious with everything you could need. Two coffee makers and newly renovated kitchen. Pool isn't heated but it is clean and there is a perfectly situated tree for the afternoon sun. The area is quiet without any development around it. A short ride to the beach and a few restaurants. Only negative is the towels were small and thin and they didn't provide beach towels which for us coming from New York was challenging but we made do.

We couldnt have asked for anything more. Our stay at Casa Milonga was perfect. The house is homely and has a practical set up, lots of space and an exeptionally beautiful garden with pool. The proximity to the nearby coast and towns is perfect. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The highlight of the villa is its location. It is on an exceptionally large plot with very little development nearby. The pool area and garden are beautiful with good quality loungers and views of the ocean in the distance.
A car is a necessity to get to most places but Bengali is a pleasant 20 minute walk away along old farm tracks and Marinha Beach can be walked to also.
Inside the property is spacious although the lounge is little small compared to other areas. Just one bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the other three bedrooms share two bathrooms, one of which located by the front door and is accessed through the lounge/dining area.
We had a problem with the drainage from one of the bathrooms during our stay but this was rectified as quickly as possible.
Marrion, the property manager, was very helpful and quick to respond to all communication.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and thank Raul for the use of his villa.

We had 3 generations of family staying at Casa Milonga and it was perfect for everyone. Had everything that we needed for a self catering holiday, including Tupperware and cool boxes for picnics. The pool provided great entertainment for the children and the adults loved the sea view! Have nothing negative to say about the whole process.

What a beautiful property!! We had two families with four adults and three children. The house was spacious, well appointed, and was a stunning property. The pool, gardens, outdoor eating space, and interior…all beautiful. And Raul and Marrion were so easy to interact with, and very responsive. We wish all of our VRBO experiences were this positive. We will definitely rent from Raul again.

This villa was very clean and a great choice for us with our family and grandchildren. The swimming pool was a big hit with the kids, especially with the heat. Would definitely stay there again! Marrion, the property manager, was great!

Perfect location very close to Praia Marinha. Beautiful views and comfortable house and pool to come back and relax after a morning at the beach or kayaking. Relaxing time at the end of a busy trip to Portugal. Close to Faro airport as well, only about 45 min away.

Idyllic villa only 1 mile from beaches
The villa was so beautiful and far bigger than photos show. The whole family loved it, loved the pool, with plenty of space for chilling. The location was so peaceful and yet so near to everything 10 minutes away. Owner and host helpful and there if needed despite us not needing them at all during stay. I would thoroughly recommend.

A little piece of paradise
Casa Milonga is just a beautiful place to stay, it was a perfect location for our extended family holiday. The gardens and pool were very special and the location allowed us to easily access the local beauty spots with spectacular beaches within walking distance. Our family stayed at Casa Milonga in late September after attending a wedding in Braga. It exceeded all of my expectations! The villa and the gardens are more beautiful in person than the pictures show. Everything was in bloom and the weather was perfect. We practically lived on the outdoor patio, with the gorgeous bougainvillea framing our view of the pool and the ocean! Raul gave us great suggestions for food shopping and areas of interest. We communicated regularly before we arrived. The house was so comfortable for everyone. Our grandsons loved their bedroom and all of the adults commented on the comfort and spaciousness of theirs. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The barbeque on the patio was used daily. The villa is a short trip to the beaches or surrounding villages, very easy to navigate with Google maps. Enjoyed shopping at Porches Pottery and had lunch at their little cafe. Their iced coffee is the best, with a little scoop of ice cream!! All in all we had a fantastic vacation and would love to return. I highly recommend Casa Milonga!

We arrived and loved the villa instantly. Plenty of space, comfortable and everything we could need.
The location is beautiful and the villa is just perfect for a peaceful get away.
It is however a little remote so definitely advise renting a car. We managed fine with taxis and got out and saw the lovely beaches.
Although it’s remote the standard of the accommodation and the idyllic views make any holiday here a complete get away from the stresses of a busy life.

Beautiful location
We rented Casa Milonga for 2 weeks. Loved the location and the view. Beds were comfortable and shopping and restaurants were conveniently located close by. The wide variety of birds visiting the garden was a treat. Poolside BBQs were the best! Very relaxing. Thank you to Marrion for easy check in.
