Excellent staff and room. Huge room and well appointed bathroom. Fridge and coffee service. Good toiletries. Friendly and helpful staff who carry bags up two flights of stairs. Decent breakfast but not a lavish spread.
The lack of a lift. A little far from major attractions.

I book the place for 2 of my foreign friends. I didn’t stay but they were very happy with the stay.
They were in Sri Lanka for 4 days, 1 day one of my friends went to Sigiriya and forgot to check out since she was returning to the same place. Anuradha was quite understanding and flexible with this. Even I was going to pay for that night, the issue was somebody had booked that same room. However, it’s a convenient location, my friends liked the stay. I only had a limited interaction with the staff as I was dropping off my friend from the airport to the hotel. It was 2am in the morning and the gentleman received us with a smile. And he was friendly too.
