The apartment has a really great view of the mountains, the ocean and the whole El Golfo valley. It is close to the center of La Frontera, with good grocery shops and restaurants nearby, and it's also a great starting point for hikes and viewpoints like El Sabinar or Sendero La Llanía.
We really enjoyed the barbecue area and the terrace, and it was also great that we could stay with our dog. During the hotter days, the apartment stayed nicely cool inside.
We were also allowed a later check-out, which made our last day much less stressful before leaving the island. The host was very nice and communication was easy throughout our stay.
Would definitely recommend it as a base for exploring El Hierro!

Good beds, ok bathroom. Nice view. Well equipped. Wifi that worked fine. Small sittingroom but ok.
The furniture in the sittingroom were very uncomfortable. It would be a big improvement to get better cushions for the chars or new chars. and do impove the inbuilt sofa.. The beds had sheets with filts. It would be much nicer with a duvet.
