Great find in Funchal!

The apartment is lovely and spacious, is in a very nice central location and near the bus station. Christina, the host was awesome!

There was only one bathroom and toilet. So with 4 people you had to wait to use the toilet if someone was showering.

Very large and well equiped appartment in central Funchal.

Communication with Cristina was excellent. Welcome gifts: fruit and wine. Departure gift as well and an early departure taxi arranged by Cristina. The kitchen was well equiped with everything one could want. The living room was more than comfortable. A large supermarket was almost opposite the appartment. A very pleasant square with very good terraces in the morning and afternoon behind the appartment. Very central for everything in Funchal. Good sound proofing in the bedrooms from outside.

The double bed in one of the bedrooms was much too small. (1,30m) for two people. The wifi was quite weak, ok in the living room but very patchy in the bedroom.

Lovely stay, apartment and people :)

The best apartament I have ever stayed in. Its size went beyond our expecations. The staff is very helpful, especially Cristina, a lovely person with whom I had a contact for the whole stay, she sent lots of useful information about attractions, means of transport and even showed her interest when we needed help with leaving and going to the airport. At the apartament, there are all necessary products which are very useful during the stay but there is no point in buying the full size ones. I am totally satisfied with this Apartment, no wonder it is often unavailable. Friendly people and excellent central localtion!:)

Lovely stay. We would happily book this again for a return visit.

Excellent location. A very short walk to all the amenities we wanted (shops/restaurants/buses etc), but very quiet at night. Lovely character apartment with a good kitchen, and very spacious. Very quick response to a small problem with the hot water. Very comfortable and well equipped.

A bigger bed and a couple more pillows - but that is being fussy!

Great stay for father and son in Funchal

Location near the Old Town was great. Shops, Cafés, bars and restaurants immediately out of the front door. Lots of space and light in the apartment. Comfortable furniture. Cristina was brilliant with information on the apartment and local area. Had a great stay.

The mattresses were uncomfortable but we realise this is a subjective comment.

Exceptional

This spacious apartment in an excellent location for walking around the city. Restaurants, shops, market and cafes are only a few steps away. Public beach is 7 min far by walk. Car rentals 3 min far by walk. We found out the small local restaurant just 3 min away in tiny street with local food (fish, meat and also soup). Apartment is located in 2nd floor of living building with elevator and big underground car park. Cristina wait us in the front of apartment in the evening and she explain us everything what we need. She prepare fresh fruits and bottle of water in the apartment for us. We really enjoy the stay there and we will definitely return to this apartment. Thank you so much

Both managers are fabulous! Kind, sensitive and friendly. With a big smile and warmth we will keep our memories about Madeira. The apartments made our stay safe, comfortable and pleasant. Situated in a very heart of Funchal is was a place where we felt at home, coming back from a long walks or excursions. 2 supermarkets are very close, lots of cafes and beautiful port nearby. Thank you very much for our wonderful vacation!

Excellent conditions and location.

Very good apartment, large, comfortable. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, good WiFi, elevator, private underground parking. Excellent location in the Funchal city center. Two large supermarkets, a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Very pleasant and friendly proprietress Cristina.

A gem of an apartment in the heart of Funchal.

This spacious and well equipped apartment is in an excellent location for walking around the city. Restaurants, shops, market and cafes are only a few steps away. It is in a secure building with elevator and big underground car park. The apartment itself has 3 balconies, as well as sound-proofing doors. The huge kitchen has everything you need to cook, but with all that's available right outside, we did little cooking ourselves. As much as we enjoyed this space, the best about it absolutely is Cristina! We have rarely met such a helpful and friendly host. Cristina met us late in the evening after a delayed flight, and even provided assistance with our car rental issues. She left plenty of food in the apartment for us, knowing that we were arriving late. Cristina checked in with us during our stay, and even after we left. We will definitely return to this apartment when next we visit Funchal. Obrigada!

Fantastic stay in the centre of Funchal

We really enjoyed our stay in Funchal! We arrived late, but were very warmly welcomed by Cristina, who explained everything about the apartment. Other than that, she has always been available for information, also related to things to visit in Madeira. The property has an allocated parking space in case you have a car. It is right in the centre of Funchal and it is extremely good in terms of value for money.
