Fantastic stay in a lovely hotel with wonderful staff.

This hotel was wonderful, very comfortable and very clean. The rooftop bar with the pool was very nice to lounge in for drinks and chilling. The staff were fantastic, they couldn’t do enough. You even get an extra room service call early evening to see if you need extra towels, toiletries or water which is above and beyond. They helped me book a taxi to and from Nargakot. The location was close enough to the bustle of Thamel but in a quiet location which made it feel like an oasis of calm. Breakfast had a good selection particularly the omelette station and the juice shots and yoghurt. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and comfortable.

Transfer from/to the airport; free early check in; good room space and public areas; clean; peacefull place in Thamel; good and polite service in general; good restaurants nearby (local, pizza, etc)

Great hotel but not without a few issues!

The room was fantastic. Initially, the fridge wasn't working but the staff sorted that out quite quickly. The rooftop infinity pool was pure bliss and I was able to sunbathe on a lounger with a birds eye view of Kathmandu. The staff couldn't do enough for you and I couldn't fault them.

The Shower: Sometimes getting hot water in the morning was a challenge! The breakfasts: Whilst the restaurant had everything you could possibly want in the morning, the freshness of certain things could be improved upon. The coffee is in a jug flask (often lukewarm and stewed). The Danish pastries are obviously returned to the restaurant day-after-day as they were ALWAYS dry, stale and old, not fresh. Upon complaining one morning, the waiter went to the kitchen and returned with a couple of fresh ones for me. The next day, back to the stale dry ones again which should have been thrown in the bin. Come on Mulberry Hotel, this is a supposed to be a high-end, luxury hotel, sort out some FRESH produce and do as other luxury hotels do.....bring the guests a pot of HOT fresh coffee to their table if requested!

This hotel is centrally located in Thamel area and is really clean and well maintained. The staff is hospitable and facilities were beyond expectations.

Excellent

Mulberry is a beautiful modern hotel in a great location. It is very comfortable, great bedrooms, pool/ bar area and restaurant. Staff and service are outstanding. Staff went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed when I wasn’t feeling too well on my 2nd stay in the hotel as part of my trip. The hotel isn’t the cheapest in the area however is well worth it especially if you wish some home comforts after a trek or day in Kathmandhu. I highly recommend and I will definitely visit again Thank you! 😊

Amazingly located, good size rooms with friendly and super accommodating staff.

Location is excellent, right in the heart of Thamel. General Manager Niraj was great at helping solve some issues we encountered. My ratings here are based on the suite that Niraj moved us to because of problems with the original Exec room booked.

It’s a bit tired and rough around the edges. Basic facilities like making international calls and reserving a larger taxi weren’t available. Breakfast could be better.

I had a delightful time.

Breakfast buffet was delicious. The good and prosecco offered at the lounge was excellent. Staff was friendly. The location felt safe and comfortable. Me and my friends had a wonderful time.

A quiet oasis in the heart of hectic Kathmandu

The staff at Hotel Mulberry were wonderful. They were extremely attentive to all our requests and nothing was ever a problem. Niraj and his team are wonderful! The location of the hotel is also really good. It is located in Thamel, but just away from the main street, so you get a bit of an escape from the noise! The breakfast had a really good selection and the free airport transfers were a nice bonus!

There was nothing we didn't like. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in Kathmandu.

Don’t book just for the pool!

Great location and the staff were excellent. The room was fantastic and the atmosphere really made the place feel high end.

The pool was freezing cold! We booked in for 5 nights after trekking to EBC and the main reason for the booking was the pool but it was too cold to use :( Breakfast looked beautiful but there wasn’t actually a lot of choice.

Perfect Place to Stay in Kathmandu

Breakfast was amazing, with chefs cooking you omelettes on the spot. The room was clean and super comfortable. Internet was fast. Spa is good value for money! Rooftop pool is the cherry on top! Would definitely stay again, highly recommend.

I had a bit of an issue with the shower on the second night. As you have to press a button for the water to come out of the shower head and not the lower tap, but the button wasn’t clicking in.

Quality hotel with reasonable pricing.

The Mulberry is a modern hotel, where energy saving methods are employed. The hotel is well located, easy to find and very near to the shopping areas. The hotel is very clean. The staff from the check in desk to the breakfast area, roof top restaurant and the spa all provided exceptional service.
