The breakfast each morning was tasty and satisfying. Supar and Yanto were amazing. Dani did a fantastic job cleaning and his wonderful paintings all over the rooms and buildings added a special touch. The owner/host, Jim, was very accommodating and cares about every guest. He has great stories from Lombok as well as his time as a doctor in Africa. There is wildlife all over the grounds and monkeys and birds of all types come through the property regularly. The rooms were big and the beds comfortable. Aircon worked perfectly. Mini fridge was a bonus. I stayed in two different rooms over ten days. The property is close to hiking trails, a couple of which are quite steep and wild. There is a pool and pickleball court, neither of which I utilized.
No matter how hard I tried and had the staff involved, the wireless connection just didn't work for me very well, unless I was outside the room and had a clear view of the main building. You can easily connect to the router but the bandwidth is not sufficient for most anything. I stayed in two different rooms during my ten day stay and had the same issue in each room. I ended up using my phone with local eSIM as my hotspot connection. There are televisions on the walls and they are described as working in the room guide, but they do not work. I wasn't there to watch TV so this was not an issue for me, just something I observed. The property is not near anything and it's a bit of a walk or Grab ride to town. Grab transport and food delivery was easy to summon. There were regular calls to prayer from a nearby mosque and sometimes from locals with their boom boxes, but these were brief and did not detract from my stay.

A lovely stay close to Senggigi beach, but far away enough for it to be lovely and quiet. The staff and owner were really friendly and helpful. Easy access to the forest behind the property and owls in the garden at night. Lovely!
