Clenliness and staff close proximity to everything. We had a medical emergency and the hotel staff helped call an ambulance and were very helpful the days after also. Very nice people they made our stay atvthe Vranas so much more comfirtable simply by knowing we were not alone.

Location is amazing! The heart of the city and old town.
Everything in 1 min distance.
Good Beach, neo chorio- 15 mins walk.

Location was great. Close to bus station and close to harbour. Close to everything, but one has to remember that Chania is a tiny village with a few streets.
Despite my repeated communication (3 messages), there was nobody at reception to meet me at the scheduled time of arrival. I had to wait 10 minutes to just be let in. Additionally, the front desk is normally not staffed even during regular business hours and if the door is locked, you can't let yourself out, unless you have the right key and know precisely which one of the three doors to use.
