About this house rental
El Triguero displays the essence of the spirit of Andalusia. A perfect base for exploring the nearby heritage cities (the centre of Carmona is only a 10 minutes drive, Seville 30 minutes, Córdoba 50 minutes…), this vast estate offers as well absolute calm and welcomes you to discover the beauty of its Mediterranean woodlands and of its immense crops plantations on the ferile plains of Guadalquivir. The main house, which occupies almost 1000 m2, is surrounded by huge olive trees, orange and lemon trees as well as a kitchen garden and the relaxing corner of the swimming pool. The interiors, which include a chappel, are partly decorated with antiques and family memories.

Since 2014, Olé Adventures has been organising Spanish language immersion retreats for adults, and this time we had the pleasure of staying at El Triguero. What an incredible find!This beautiful patrician house is full of charm and history. The rooms are spacious, each with its own bathroom and air conditioning, making the stay very comfortable. The living areas, kitchen, and lounge are very generous in size, with a lovely fireplace and beautiful traditional decor. The gardens are absolutely stunning — a riot of colour with blooming flowers, fruit trees, and peaceful corners that make you feel like you’re living inside a painting. The property even has its own charming chapel, adding a lovely historical touch.We made excellent use of the swimming pool during our five-day stay, as the weather was perfect. We also enjoyed the table tennis and the large pitch for badminton and football.What truly made the experience special were the hosts, Carmen and Jose. They are genuinely warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. Carmen even helped us prepare a delicious paella for the whole group (10 people)! Their kindness and hospitality were outstanding.A huge thank you to Anneli and Eduardo for maintaining El Triguero so beautifully — keeping its traditional character while making it modern and welcoming.We all left completely enchanted by this hidden gem. I’m already planning our next retreat here!Gracias y volveremos pronto!

A group of 14 had a fantastic stay at the country house. Spacious communal areas. Carmen the housekeeper is a brilliant cook so we ended up asking her to cook for 6 of our 7 nights! Her repertoire is wide, varied and healthy and better than the local restaurants. We would consider going back just for her cooking. All the bedrooms had great character and lovely bedding. We'd thoroughly recommend this house for a large group.

If you want an idyllic stay in the Spanish countryside, this is your place. We were a family of 17 and fit perfectly. The caretakers, Carmen and Jose were so kind and helpful in every way. Carmen prepared fabulous meals for us our entire stay. The location is great for visiting Seville and cordoba. The road to the villa isn’t paved, but it’s a smooth ride. We would definitely return if in the area again. I can’t say enough good things about Carmen, and the solitude of this historic house set among pistachio trees.

Exactement l’endroit que je recherchais pour ma famille : au calme, dans un cadre naturel et dépaysant. La maison est parfaite pour accueillir une grande famille avec des enfants. Tout le monde est reparti reposé et ravi. La maison est très ancienne ce qui fait son charme. Le plus important à mes yeux a été la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Carmen et José en charge de notre séjour. Ils sont indéniablement le plus de notre séjour. Toute ma famille leur est reconnaissante de nous avoir permis de passer une semaine aussi sereine.
