The hosts were very friendly, the location was in the country and peaceful. a table outside to sit at while the sunset watching & hearing birds around the property.

Quiet location, Pearl and Owen are lovely, decent breakfast, nice clean rooms and good space if you are booking both rooms.
There are options for sitting outside to watch the horses or the chickens.
We accidently left a bag there but had an appointment we couldn't miss, so Pearl agreed we could come back later to pick it up. Really friendly and accommodating couple.
Have to think hard as it was great.............
We had 3 people going so didn't affect us but if you only require one room then it might be a bit weird as there are basically 2 adjacent bedrooms very close and you share the kitchen. However, they do have their own bathrooms.
The four poster bedroom was lovely for an overnight but there is no wardrobe, cupboard storage - just drawers. No problem for us but if you stayed for more than a few days might be irritating.
Breakfast was good but there was no ground coffee - Pearl was really apologetic though saying she forgot to buy it and I think this was just a one off situation.

Delightful hosts, friendly and charming.
Wonderful breakfasts. Character cottage.
Cold room with draughty floorboards. Hard pillows and uncomfortable mattress Small shower cubicle.
