Le charme des lieux et l’accueil
L’ensemble de la Bastide est vieillissant.
Le mobilier vétuste, intérieur et extérieur.
Le manque de propreté dans la villa.
Beaucoup de choses à revoir.

Sehr charmante Unterkunft mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Ruhige Lage und gute Ausstattung, herzliche Gastgeber.
Pool war eine kleine Spur zu kalt und wir hatten etwas Pech mit einer nahen Baustelle. Letzteres ist aber natürlich einfach Pech.

Man fühlt sich einfach zuhause, alles sehr schön und idyllisch , die besten Gastgeber überhaupt , wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The property has a nice pool area (though the heating isn’t very effective), the location is pretty good for access to Saint Maxime (15 minute drive), nice local village with an excellent Thursday market (5 minute drive), pleasant setting directly back onto a vineyard (we were given two bottles of wine from it on arrival, which was a nice touch), the owners are friendly and responsive (they live on site).
Very friendly local cat and dog on site too!
Though we had a pleasant stay our overriding feeling was that this property could be so much better with a little investment in maintenance, equipment (kitchen, bedsheets etc all feel very cheap and old), and a deep clean (superficially clean but look closely and it is lacking - we also had issues with dozens of millipedes in the house during our time there, which could be a seasonal thing(late sept / early oct)). It takes the term ‘rustic’ to the extreme.
I would definitely not recommend this place for anyone with young children; there is an abundance of dangerous trip hazards and harsh concrete steps.
It’s worth knowing there are two properties on site situated right next to each other, so you do get some noise from your neighbour. I’m not sure how you end up with one property or the other.
