I travel very frequently and never leave reviews but this time it's different. Our stay at the Knaus family pension (Frühstückspension Rötelstein) was exceeding our expectations 10/10. The bathroom facilities are modern, in great condition and perfectly clean. Same counts for the rest of the accomodation. Beds were great. No noise from other guest. The atmosphere of pension was very calm and welcoming. Gerhard is an absolute professional host which makes you feel welcome, is open for a chat and great honest advise for activities. Definitly book a room with a view. Breakfast was good with a daily personal touch from the host. Parking in front of the hotel. Closeby are plenty of good restaurants in Ramsau within a 10 min drive. Great place to choose as a home when going for hiking in the mountains. Free use of the garden and an open self service bar with welcoming prices. If we had the time we would extended. Next time we are exploring the area we will 100% return.
Television reception wasn't great. But who wants to watch television anyway when you can watch the sunset and stars on the balcony outside?
