Pretty countryside, nice gardens…and pet deer! About 25 min walk from Laer (town with restaurants). Nice bread and fresh eggs (hard boiled) at breakfast. Quiet surroundings. Polite and friendly staff.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber durchaus Charme. Unser Zimmer mit Balkon war geräumig und sauber, das Gastgeberpaar ausgesprochen freundlich.
Leider war der Wellnessbereich inklusive Schwimmbad geschlossen – und das offenbar schon seit längerer Zeit. Sowohl bei Booking.com als auch auf der hoteleigenen Homepage wird der Wellnessbereich weiterhin beworben. Das ist aus meiner Sicht nicht akzeptabel. Gebucht hatten wir das Hotel gerade wegen des Schwimmbads!
Also, wer auf Wellness/Schwimmbad Wert legt, sollte daher vor der Buchung sicherheitshalber direkt im Hotel nachfragen, um eine Enttäuschung vor Ort zu vermeiden.
Außerdem kam Baulärm von einer benachbarten Baustelle, auch am Samstag, hinzu, dafür kann das Hotel nichts.
Schade, das Hotel hätte aufgrund seiner Lage durchaus Potenzial, bräuchte allerdings Investitionen und eine Modernisierung.
