Great location right on river and 5 minutes walk from train station. Lovely to stay at a traditional local hotel rather than branded one. Lovely staff, definitely would use again. Had corner room 7.

The location was excellent. It was about 10 minutes on foot from the main town and also about 10 minutes from the train station.
I had a room with a beautiful view of the Hérault River. The bed was okay and the room size was also fine. the room was not too big and not too small. I did not use the air conditioning, so I cannot comment on that.
I would suggest this hotel if you plan to spend most of your time outside and only use the room mainly for sleeping.
The location, the staff and the view were very positive points for me.
However, there were also a few things in my room that may be important for other guests. The main issue was a smell coming from the bathroom. I had to keep the windows open most of the time because, when the windows were closed, the smell was noticeable.
For me, it was not a big problem because I had a room on the first floor and not on the ground floor. I think the rooms are on the first and second floor, so some people may feel okay with keeping the windows open. However, I can also understand that some guests may not feel comfortable with this, especially if they are travelling with expensive items or simply want to feel more secure.
The bathroom was also quite small. The sink was right in front of the toilet, so there was not much space for the legs.
Another thing to know is that the hotel can be a bit noisy in the morning. If you like to sleep late, this may be difficult. I usually like to start my mornings slowly, but I woke up around 7:30 because I could hear doors opening and closing.
I also want to say that these were my experiences with the room which I got. I do not know if the same things happen in the other rooms, so it does not mean that all rooms are the same.
Overall, the hotel had very nice staff, a great location and a beautiful river view. It can be a good option for a short stay.

I could hear doors opening and closing from around 7:30, so it was difficult to sleep longer.
