The room was very nice: small, but just right for one person. It didn’t have a view, but it overlooked an inner courtyard, so it was very, very quiet. The mattress on the bed was excellent.
My negative comment – and hence the rating – is that it was freezing cold on the first nigh (october 22)t!!!
It was very annoying because there was no heating. At reception, they gave me a small electric heater, but it was incredibly noisy. I couldn’t sleep. When I went down to reception the next day to complain, they simply said that, unfortunately, the hotel is part of a chain and that the central heating hadn’t been switched on and wasn’t going to be switched on.

The staff were really nice and helpful, always ready to assist. The location is perfect, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. the calm and very clean area with beautiful park nearby.
The rooms were very small, and the hotel was a bit older than it appeared in the photos. There were no bathroom slippers or toothpaste provided in the rooms.

Very attentive staff, good location, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, very nice hotel design, all very cosy.
Room a bit too small, no place for luggage. Ventilators were provided but no air conditioning - in summer it is absolutely not enough. Had to sleep with the window open and even so there were almost 30 degrees in the night in the room.

"Some recent reviews have complained about the rooms not being serviced daily - when you have a sheet and a duvet it is not hard to make your own bed and hang your towels on the heated towel rail!
