Absolute picture of an area. The cabins were rustic but modern and spotlessly clean. The gas log fire was sensational. It snowed in the morning we were there which created a beautiful log cabin in the snow landscape. Small shop at Administration has quality Tasmanian wine and nibblies. Peppers restaurant and bistro just down the road with a cracking log fire. Cradle Mountain information centre just a short walk from cabins. Cabins are all generously sized, great hot water. Wallabies finish off the wilderness picture

Everything was good. Our second visit here. The cabin was very cosy. Plenty of firewood and electric heater as well if needed. Very clean. The bed was comfortable and the under floor heating in the bathroom was an unexpected treat. The location is great, being just a few minute's walk from the Visitor Centre and the shuttle buses that take you to Dove Lake.
